I usually wear a men's medium, or large if I want it loose, (size 16 women's). But I don't like a tight fit so read the advice of others and went for XL which fitted really well, not too tight and close enough around the hips not to be baggy. I wear men's because I have very wide shoulders and this gilet was wide enough in the shoulder and across the back to be comfortable to move about in. Nice deep pockets and good stitching detail.

Bought this to sew on patches. Despite some reviews the quality of the product seems pretty fine to me. After looking at other reviews I opted to go for the next size up to what I normally get and it was a good fit for me. As one other reviewr wrote, the stitching on the black denim is black stitching and not white as the picture suggests. I was hoping it would be as I think it looks better anyway. Good, prompt communication with the seller when I had a couple of queries.

Great product. Denim is decent quality. Not light or thin. I ordered one size up from my measurements and it fits nicely.

this is a well made vest/gilet. always wanted one made out of denim. i am a 42" chest and this in XL fits perfectly over a shirt, jumper or light jacket. hope the sizing information helps someone. very pleased with denim vest ...

Good quality. Wash on arrival as it comes with a odour! Decent for price. Comes up slightly small.

Quality is the best, and it fits perfectly on me. My last battle vest didn't have pockets and this one does, I am very pleased with the product and would recommend anyone to buy this.

This is fine. The material is a little thinner than traditional denim, but is fine. If you have a bit of a gut (like me!) go for a bigger size than you perhaps normally would

The size fit my boyfriend just right. I got this for him as a Valentine's Day gift, and he was just thrilled. It did however take about almost a month to get here(which sucked but not that big of deal.) I will say that it was very easy to sew patches on. So if you're looking for a cool "rocker" gift where you can display what bands you like, this is it for you!

Je me suis fié aux précédents commentaires et ai pris une taille au dessus (je mets du L normalement, j'ai pris du XL) : j'ai été bien inspiré puisque le XL correspond en fait à du L. La qualité est au rendez-vous, surtout pour ce prix : coton, teinte bien noire, pas de fil qui pendent, bonnes coutures et un bouton supplémentaire est également fourni, au cas où. Bref, je vous le recommande !

Ich habe mir diese Weste in schwarz als Rohling für eine Metal Kutte bestellt. Es war ganz gut dass ich vorher nochmal in die Größentabelle geschaut habe, sonst hätte ich sie wahrscheinlich zu klein bestellt. Ich bin ca. 185cm groß und wiege knapp 100Kg (sportlich gebaut). In T-Shirts trage ich normalerweise eher Gr.L, die dann aber auch schon körperbetont sitzen. XL Shirts kann ich zwar auch tragen, sitzen aber oftmals, je nach Hersteller, eher locker. Aufgrund der Angaben in der Größentabelle habe ich nun diese Weste in XL bestellt und das war auch gut so. Größe L wäre auf jeden Fall zu klein ausgefallen. Die schwarze XL Weste sitzt bei mir ähnlich wie bei dem jungen Mann auf dem Artikelbild, also schon sehr enganliegend. Die Knöpfe bekomme ich mit T-Shirt drunter zwar noch bequem zu, aber viel Spielraum ist da dann nicht mehr. Mit einem Hoodie drunter, wird es dann schon problematisch. Da müssen die Köpfe dann offen bleiben. Von der Verarbeitung her gefällt mir die Weste ausgezeichnet. Schöner fester Stoff und auch die Nähte sind allesamt sauber verarbeitet. Man sollte die Weste unbedingt anfangs einmal, möglichst allein, bei einem kurzen Waschgang in die Waschmaschine schmeißen, da sie noch etwas abfärbt. Einen üblen chemischen Geruch, wie es einige andere Rezensenten hier beschrieben haben, konnte ich bei meiner Weste jetzt nicht feststellen. Jedenfalls nicht anders bzw. schlimmer als bei anderen neuen Textilien auch. Nach dem ersten Waschen war auch davon nichts mehr zu riechen. Jetzt fehlen nur noch die Patches, die aber auch schon unterwegs sind und dann geht's ans Aufnähen. Ick freu mir! Fazit: Sehr schöne Weste mit einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, die als Basis für eine Kutte ganz hervorragend geeignet ist. Auf jeden Fall sollte man eher eine Nummer größer als gewöhnlich bestellen.
