What is the adjustment range in inches from floor to top of seat?

it goes from 20" to 26-27" - very versatile and comfortable, and the back is supportive.

Weight limits was one of the crucial details that mattered when I made the decision as to which chair to purchase. My husband weighs 260+, and the chair can handle his weight without any problems. BTW: this is a fantastic chair!!

How portable is this? Can you take off the seat to transport?

Yes. It’s comes in a box fully disassembled. You have to assemble it yourself. So, you can disassemble it again or just purchase it at your new location.
