Superb
Frank Sinatra may not immediately flag up as a singer of Christmas songs however this unique performer's impeccable phrasing and delivery backed up by lush orchestral arrangements are just the perfect recipe. This new compilation released by the Sinatra Estate includes selections from old Blue Eyes Christmas albums across the years and is superb. Excellent quality recordings sound fresh and lively. Silent Night recorded late in Mr Sinatra's long career always brings a lump to my throat, despite his voice not being as strong as in his heyday his interpretation is unique and uplifting. Listen.
