I’m like a vampire when it comes to going outside in the daylight, but I realize I need sun rays for good health, so I bought this. I keep it sitting on a table by my recliner and use it every day. It’s great for a reading light and you can adjust it however you want for brightness. It comes with a remote control that powers it on and for all of its functions so you could put it across the room and use it without having to get up. It’s not only functional, it looks nice and modern. It’s cool to the touch even after it’s been on a while. There’s no heat coming out of it. It’s attractive, lightweight, and doesn’t take up much space either. It would look good in any setting. I love it!

I love these. I got two of them and have them on either side of my computer screen. I like the way these look on my desk. I use them when I'm on video conference and they do a nice job of illuminating my face. I like the remote for easy touch control. One remote works for both of them. I mostly use the two brightest color options. The darkest one is a bit too orange for me. I have noticed that, after using these, my mood is a bit better. So they seem to function well as light therapy, but I haven't gone through a winter with them yet. Overall, I'd say these are quality products and have good value for the money.

Overall, I love this lamp and use it every day. It has 3 different color tones to mimic natural light, 4 different brightness settings, and 4 different timer settings if you want it to shut off on its own. It was easy to set up, works well, and doesn't get hot after leaving it on for a while.The downside, and the reason for only 4 stars, is that you have to use the included remote to do anything other than to turn it on and off (there's an on/off button on the lamp). A couple days after I got the lamp I lost the remote, and had no way to adjust the settings, there's not even a phone app you can download, it's all on the remote. I ended up buying 2 more remotes from the same company so I wouldn't have that problem again, and I put them in different parts of my room so I'm always near one if I want to change the settings. It's not a deal breaker, but at this price point they could've designed it better or included 2 remotes because you're bound to lose one sooner or later.

My father I law has had Parkinson’s 21 years: he is just now getting in the second stage of dementia. Sun downs is a real thing! He always uses flashlight and keeps all his lights on at night. If not he hallucinates real bad. He sees ppl in his apartment all the time. We ordered 3 of these lights. Put two in his living room windows and one in his bedroom window. U can adjust these lights to different lighting settings. There’s a dim light and then like a regular light setting then real LD light setting that’s like daytime. At night he puts these on and they have helped him a lot with sun downs. Make sure u shut all blinds if using these because they will show a bright reflection in the windows. So we keep the lights in the windows with blinds closed and it looks like daytime in his apartment. Also cool feature we learned, they each have a remote to adjust settings. Well since we bought 3 we was trying to figure out how we would use 3 remotes for each light. His dad would lose them and never figure it out. Well we learned that one remote will control all the lights ! U don’t need the remote that each came with if u but more then one of these. As long as u have one of the remotes, they control all of them. Kinda cool. Last thing, we went online to find these lights and through a actual light company they was like 140 bucks a piece! I decided to get on Amazon and see if I could get a better price, and saved 100 bucks per light! These are just as good as those real expensive ones. So don’t waste ur money elsewhere!!! 100% recommend these.

I've done a lot of research on light therapy devices and am a strong proponent of light therapy, especially in the northern states from October to April. This device is my favorite for a few reasons: 1. Color temperature choices. I do not personally like fluorescent or "cold" lighting, and this device gives me three choices ranging from 2700K to 5000K; 2. Dimmer. I use the device at 100% brightness in the morning for an hour, which is the correct dosage for me, but I still want additional light throughout the day. The dimmer allows for the lower light output to accommodate this; 3. Aesthetics. It's a good-looking device that fits in any setting without looking clinical; and 4. Timer - while I don't use it personally, I think it is a great feature for people who are running around and really need to know they are getting a sufficient dose for a therapeutic result.
