Top Gear - The Worst Car in The History of The World

If your going to go in search of the worlds worst car,I suppose Whitby is as good a place to go looking for it as any other.This time out its Jeremy and James fronting the,out in time on DVD for christmas,special,and as you would expect from these two,they spend as much time bickering as they do driving.Their search for automotive crapness takes in some truly terrible cars,and some frankly surprising ones,not to mention a few that commit the ultimate sin of being bland.As you would expect,if not demand,there are plenty of madcap stunts,and driving exotic motors to the limit.To be fair Whitby does provide an excellent back drop,or rather the undulating roads,and rolling,heather coverd moors do.This is probably the best of the Top Gear Christmas DVD releases that have cropped up over the past few years,as its the one that is most like the programme,which means the humour is back,which the others did sadly lack.Dedicated petrol heads,of which I am one will love it,and as such it will make an excellent stocking filler,seeing as there is no Clarkson DVD this year.If you want any more reasons to buy it how about this one,you get to see James diving a Ford GT,while Jeremy is tied to a tree.

It's Okay, could have been more interesting, considering what the guys get up to in Top Gear, still interesting to see Clarkson & May together without the Hamster, hour and a bits entertainment and a must for Top Gear collectors, best bit just before the end - there that's all the clue your getting.

I was very excited about this DVD and decided to go ahead and buy it before it's even available in the US. While it's always fun to see the boys scamper about and make hay over things, I can't help but feel it's kind of been done already. There's James in the trunk (boot) of the car, Jeremy tied to a tree (although that is always funny). A car crashes on top of another one...see the trend? While I was surprised (sort of because I knew the worst car could never be a European car) at their final choice, I was kind of disappointed in the journey to get to that choice. In the end it's not a DVD I will watch again (in fact I've re-gifted it). If your a die-hard Top Gear fan I would say get it, but don't be surprised if you've seen it before.

Top Gear is always popular with my family, so this was a well received present for my husband. It was very funny, but the reason it didn't get 5 stars is that I felt the whole Top Gear thing has become a bit tired, and the DVD reflected that. But it was fun to watch, so don't be put off, James and Jeremy are funny and argumentative as usual, and therefore it is a laugh

Top Gear is officially back with a bang and it's so refreshing to see something so original and actually well thought out. The whole thing is typically classic Top Gear where it's just banter between James and Jezza the whole way through the DVD. It goes through some great cars and as you can imagine some of the worst. It's just so worth watching and paying the money for as it's a very nice spin off and the presenters actually seem interested in doing it and it's done very well with a hilarious ending as well.Truly worth a watch. Go get it!

Anyone who says that this DVD is the same as other Top Gear DVDs is wrong. This DVD is excellent, Jeremy is funny on his own but put him with James May & the DVD is twice as good & funny. The ending of the DVD especially brought a smile to my face, top class. This DVD is excellent & if you like Top Gear in any form DVD or show, you will love this DVD. Its filled with the same humour, quotes & wit that is associated with Top Gear. Top Gear is always brilliant when they mix old, rubbish cars with new, performance cars. Brilliant, you won't be disappointed. If you are, you don't understand Top Gear. The End.

It is said on the DVD sleeve "never seen on TV" : my a** !!! I've seen it on TV in France on RMC (which also broadcasted most of the series from series 6 to 23 + Top Gear USA + Top Gear France).However I bought it because it is great in a different way regular episodes are.As usual it starts as something "ambitious" but actually ends up at the funniest "rubbish".

This DVD was much better than some of the other recent offerings from my beloved Top Gear.Thank god Jeremy is in this one. If it doesnt contain Clarkson it aint Top Gear in my opinion! Basically very good entertainment and banter and humour twixt Captain n Clarkson. Enjoyed it. Recommend it if you love all tht is Top Gear!
