Amazing product with simple and efficient design. Metal sheet at critical points makes the product robust so that rat/mouse won't escape. Mouse once trapped will remain inside until you release it. It's good for small rats/mouse.System is clever and well built. The door springs are very soft and safe. Once the trap closes, it stays shut relying on a ratchet lock rather than the spring, which is very nice.The system also doesn't require you to hang the bait on a hook like traditional systems. You can just place it inside, loosly. The trap triggered is the floor itself, which is very sensitive.Excellent product.Just be mindful of the size. Read the dimensions on the product listing

The trap functions effectively for larger rodents, but smaller ones can easily escape; a stronger spring mechanism would improve its efficacy.
