How much does the case weigh? I see 2.12 pounds, but I'm not sure if that's the package weight or the case weight

That’s case weight - it adds some but it’s not bulky so the extra weight for the protection is ok with me!

Will this fit my model a2141 16" macbook pro?

The A2141 16" was released in 2019 and the specs say 2022/2023 in specific. Can’t tell ya if they’re the same size etc, but if they went out of their way to mention the dates, maybe there’s a difference.

How does the kickstand open?

A small tab on the stand - pull it to open to any position - like most pull tabs - it’s small - doesn’t interfere with any part but if you pull and let go it will open to the next position - if you pull and hold then put it in the position you want and let go it will lock in the closest position to what you selected! I hope that answers your question - the tab is in the middle of the closed stand and moves with the stand - I’ve had no issues with it either using it or having it latch in the position I want when I let it go!
