Hemline Extra Tall Embroidery Thread Storage Box

The box is tall enough to allow for the tall spools of thread. Also spaced apart well so additional spools of thread can be placed in between posts.

Perfect for storing my collection of sewing threads. The posts are far enough apart to accommodate all sizes and shapes of cotton reel and the whole thing appears to be quite sturdy.

For Christmas my family ordered two of these for me from my wishlist and I ordered one as well. So far, two of the three ordered have all been 80 spool thread holders and not the 30 spool holders clearly stated on this listing. I am still waiting for the third one which I ordered over a month ago. Extremely unhappy with this item. If I had know it wasn't as described, I never would have ordered it. The spools I have will not fit properly in the incorrect one they sent me.

Thread colors are very visible so you don't have to open all of the containers to find your color choice. Just be aware that the spool holders are not removeable so this is only useful for organizing threads. It works great. I ordered 3 more.

While these boxes are the right height to hold Floriani 1100 yard thread spools, they unfortunately are poorly made. 3 out of 4 of the hinges broke the first time I opened the boxes. I haven't decided yet whether to ask for a refund, or just keep them because it's a pain and negative for my carbon footprint to return them. ☹️
