Beyond that, the view flips, which takes a little getting used to.The built-in lighting is another practical feature. The three LED lights illuminate whatever you're looking at, making it much easier to see in dim conditions. There's also a UV light included, which I haven't used extensively but could be useful for specific tasks.It runs on AAA batteries (not supplied, so you'll need to get some). Operating it is straightforward, with just an on/off switch. It also comes with a small bag and a cleaning cloth, which are nice touches for keeping the lens protected.Overall, it's been a significant help. Now this is one big magnifying glass. It does take batteries, obviously. The light is bright but no too overwhelming. Gave it as a gift even and it was a big hit. Mine came in and is exactly as it is in the picture. It is also very lightweight but put together very well also has a very big glass to see out of.

Had to buy my own 3 triple A batteries, otherwise okay.

Great magnifier easy to use it's got two other magnifiers within it and not only does it have a bright light it has a purple one to use for counterfeit money or paintings it doesn't weigh heavy at all and although it's made of plastic it's pretty durable I feel the quality and functionality of it is great.

My dad never needed a magnifying glass because he had bifocals on his actual glasses. After cataract surgery he doesn't need to wear his glasses anymore to see distance. However he needs glasses to see how close. The doctor told us not to use his old glasses for reading because that would mess with his brains ability to learn how to use the new lenses he has in his eyes.During the transition time I pick this up for him and he's able to read his paper, magazines and bills. I do really like that it has a light on it however there is what is stated in the description as a UV light. I don't understand the purpose of that. My issue is that one click turns the light on, a second click turns the light off but the UV light on and the third click turn everything off. My father forgets the third click so he ends up leaving it with the UV light on that runs down the AAA batteries inside. Other than that issue it's a nice large magnifying glass that is light and easy to hold.

The back of a package, the small letters, almost unreadable, UNTIL you get this item. Great amplification of sight. Great lighting as it provides a strong white light on the subject you’re reading and if that’s not good enough, you can view it through ultraviolet light, which is very handy at night. This little bugger does the job. Highly recommended… but I was always with magnifying lenses. Treat the lens like gold!
