Bar shampoo is convenient, works well, and reduces plastic waste
I like the idea of using a product that can cut down on plastic waste so I ordered this “solid” shampoo. I also like that it's organic.I’ve been using it for about a week. It looks and lathers just like a bar of soap. Sometimes I have to re-lather to get enough soap for my hair. It rinses out easily and my hair feels very clean. I haven’t noticed any residue. The scent is ok, fresh like mint with other herbal undertones. It’s not my favorite scent but I like it ok and it’s not overpowering. This is not a moisturizing shampoo and my hair has been a little fly away at times (even though I use conditioner). It’s the middle of winter and static season so I’m not blaming the shampoo. It’s just not helping much. This shampoo bar is very convenient and would be great for travelling. It doesn’t take up as much space or weigh as much as bottled shampoo. And there’s no plastic bottle to dispose of when it’s used up.

Obsessed
Love this brand. I bought the vitamint (w/ nettle & mint) I'm obsessed. It smells wonderful, the lathers is amazing & it sooths itchy/dry scalp. I wish they'd make a conditioner bar of this

An eco-friendly yet effective option
I know hair products are highly dependent on individual scalps. For reference, I'm a 30-something dude with somewhat-dry hair, mostly 1-2" in length, slightly curly. I'm the kind of guy that usually uses the single-bottle shampoo and conditioner. In short, I'm probably the simplest case, so please view my review through that lens.I've never used a shampoo bar before, but it was fairly intuitive and got a decent lather after two or three passes over my scalp. The instructions recommend a second pass with the bar after rinsing, and you get a much fuller lather much quicker, so I've been defaulting to a quick initial scrub followed by a big lathery second scrub where I really work the scalp. That second scrub is really where you will feel and smell the nettle and mint. It's not really overpowering, but you will definitely notice it. Somewhat surprisingly, the smell does not linger after the shower, to the point where my wife smelled my scalp fresh out of the shower and could tell I did not use my normal shampoo from the absence of its smell but couldn't identify any other fragrance.I was a little worried that it would not last long enough to justify its price, but after three weeks of use it seems to be shrinking at a slower rate than my bar of body soap. I would say it's maybe lost two millimeters of thickness. At this rate I'm probably looking at about four months of usage total. It's still somewhat less cost-effective than a bottle of shampoo, but that's balanced by it being eco-friendly, so it's a decent trade in my book.I'm not sure I would recommend this for someone whose hair is particularly long, as they would absolutely burn through the bar and find it more awkward to use, but for my purposes it works very well at a decent price point with less waste.

Worked well!
This was my first time using a shampoo bar. At first I tried lathering it in my hands which didn't work well but then I rubbed it on my hair all over and there was too much lather. I learned the next time to only rub it a few times on my hair and the lather was just right. If I'd read the instructions I would have known up front to rub it directly on my hair. It's obvious from the uneven edges on the bar that this product is handmade. The scent is refreshing without being overpowering. I was surprised to find while rinsing that my hair was literally squeaky clean. While styling my hair felt like I'd used conditioner as the brush moved through so freely - a nice plus to not have to use two products.

Good for greasy hair
The ingredients in this hair soap is pretty good for greasy hair. My hair starts to look and feel heavy if I go two days without washing but this soap took care of that for me. It has a clean pleasant scent to it. For hair bar soaps, I like to work the lather in my hands before working it through my hair to prevent the soap from pulling at my hair. This soap is no different in that aspect for other hair soaps. Its pretty concentrated and last quiet awhile and is perfect for travel as you don't have to carry a bottle. I still need to use a hair conditioner or leave in moisturizer afterwards cause like i said, it does strip the oil for me so I need something to cut back on the squeakiness of my hair after shampooing but that is the same deal with liquid shampoos designed for oily hair as well so it's not a downfall of this shampoo bar.

Left my hair lifeless
Product lathers up great, smells great, if you like mint, but I noticed when I rinse it out my hair was very rough and not at all smooth feeling. I have normal to oily hair and this made it feel like it removed all of the oil to the point it was very, very dry. After styling, it seemed lifeless with no body like before. I do use a conditioner but it didn't seem to help.

Takes getting used to
First time using a shampoo bar. I find rubbing a bar of soap on my hair takes some getting used to. It lathers nicely and works wonderfully. After washing, I do feel my hair and scalp is extra clean. The bar is really small though, not really sure if it justifies the price. Will have to see how many washes I get out of it. I like it so far and it's different but works. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the scent, otherwise, a great find.
