Bobalicious
This boba is fresh and delicious! It has a wonderful, chewy texture and makes a great, surprising addition to many types of cold teas. Our current favorite is iced chai, but milk tea is equally yummy, if not more traditional. I like that this tapioca confection is made in the US. The boba is vacuum sealed in a plastic bag, which can be stored in a pantry or cabinet until ready to use. One packet makes enough boba for about four beverages. We followed the directions on the package. We boiled the tapioca for twenty five minutes, and it came out perfectly. In the past we've used the five-minute quick boil variety, but this is just is easy and it has a better texture. We'll definitely consider making this our go-to boba supplier.

Chewy boba pearls cooked yourself
I had mixed results, you have to be pretty exact when cooking these. They come in an air tight bag as hard uncooked boba, which breaks easily so be careful, mine came vine but trying to open the bag I did break some of them which dissolves in the water but just be careful. Cooking them takes 50 minutes total, 25 actually cooking and 25 sitting there (per 1 cup of boba and 8 cups of water). The results were great the 2nd time. The first time I used half a cup and I think I undercooked them by 5 minutes so I don't overcook them since I was using half, but it ended up a little hard. The 2nd time using a full cup and just over 25 minutes was better, some were still a little hard/chewy but most were soft like boba should be. So making these boba pearls at home is a really fun experience and does take some getting used to if you're new like me but I'm overall happy with these as a homemade (ish) option.

Defective boba
The boba arrived vacuum packed like normal. Most of them were crushed on the bottom of the bag. I tried to cook the not crushed ones. The results were basically mud. I tried to contact the company directly unsuccessfully.

Expensive, lost 20% or so, but tasted good
I have wanted to try homemade boba for some time, and was delighted when the opportunity to try these came up. I prepared these boba tapioca pearls, by US Boba for use in a bubble tea milk. I followed the directions on the label. I sifted out the smaller pieces, and powder which resulted in about a 20% loss off the top (see pic). After they were cooked and cooled I enjoyed these with a chocolate, peanut butter, and banana almond milk. The sweetened chewy pearls were pleasant tasting in combination with the milk. The pearls cooked well being solid, chewy, yet a little tender and giving. The flavor when lightly sweetened was pleasant, especially when mixed with a nice cold milk tea or bubble milk drink. These are very pricey in relation to similar products and because so much got lost to breakage, I am giving these 3 stars.

Making boba is a process, but one well worth it
I can proudly say that I am a boba fanatic and have been for a large portion of my life. Although this is true, I realized that I have never personally made boba myself because it seemed like a complicated process (and this is partially true for sure). But with the easy-to-follow video included, it made it much easier than figuring it out yourself and I can proudly say that I know how to make boba myself and am not reliant on boba shops. That being said, the boba in the vacuum-sealed bag is very fragile and it was packed well enough so that there wasn't much damage, which is a plus. The taste is also comparable to boba shops, which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend buying boba from this company!

Extremely fragile.
These boba's are extremely fragile. I accidentally damaged one package while unpacking it since I didn't know how fragile the package was until I opened it and read the letter. When using the second package that was supposedly in good condition the middle of it was also crushed. When you buy this product you should assume that you'll get approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the overall product since a lot of the tapioca balls do turn into dust prior to opening due to how fragile they are. The tapioca balls are chewy but they do stick together when you are putting it into boiling water. They are extremely delicious and relatively easy to make if you can boil the boba's in one peace. But it's really hard to rate this product highly when you're only get half the amount you plan on getting due to how fragile the product is. Edit: Raise a star since customer service was excellent and provided to send a replacement due to the damaged package. They stand by their product which is excellent to see.

Not bad at all.
I had fun making this I’d say it’s pretty easy to make I didn’t add anything to it like brown sugar or any other syrup so I just followed the instructions and boiled it let it sit and then rinsed it with cold water and just left it in the container. When I did use these bobas I had some iced Thai tea and it didn’t change the flavor of it, it was pretty good the tapioca balls taste just like the ones that I get when I’m in the mall, I only added about 2 tablespoons to my drink it’s literally enough to make multiple drinks so I’d say it’s pretty valuable.

More work than I'd like for boba, but still good boba
I didn't realize you had to actually cook these when I ordered them. 25 minutes in boiling water, and you have to stir every once in a while. Then you have to let them sit for another 25 minutes to cool, add cold water, and then strain the residue out. It's honestly a little too much trouble for me. Some of the boba were crushed in the package, but most of them were fine. They did smell good cooking, and I have no complaints how they came out. The instructions said to add sugar if you prefer, and for my tastes, it definitely needed some. Just a bit of brown sugar did the trick. I really do wish you didn't have to cook these, but I guess that's just the way boba is - maybe they're not good preserved after cooking them or something.
