DylonHand Dye, Fabric Dye Sachet for Clothes, Soft Furnishings and Projects, 50 g - Vintage Blue

Why did you choose this product over others?:This product worked to well and it was very easy, just soaked the top on warm water in the sink for 45 minutes. The dye gave an even coverage, no streaks or uneven patches

I had a beautiful ivory silk chemise & robe that had had a reasonably good fight with a red sock in the washing machine (they came out a lovely shade of pastel pink) :) However a year has gone by and they were looking grubby so I took the plunge and bought the China blue hand dye. My items are 93% silk & 7% elastase. I followed the instructions to the letter, they weighed the correct amount for one sachet of dye and I got this beautiful result! A very vintage looking blue/silver colour :) Admittedly they look more grey in the photos but the blue is there and it's lovely and subtle. I'm so pleased I risked it.

The product was good , good coverage on a small bleach stain , i needed to apply directly to the stain to get full coverage whilst damp .I’ve given it 4 stars only because the colour was slightly darker than I needed which had nothing to do with the product

Easy to use, gave the perfect cornflower blue I was after on a white cotton sweatshirt. Not washed yet so can’t comment on staying power but I’ve not had an issue with Dylon products in the past.

After doing exactly as instructed on the packet I now have a tye dye top not a nice even colour. Not a good dye to use

Perfect for dying smaller items and the colour was true . No problems at all with product and reasonably priced

Didn't dye the item at all. I followed the instructions but it didn't do anything to my garment.

Hand dying Dylon in Vintage blue. The colour wasn't very strong. Tried dying a couple of cream hand towels hoping for sky blue but the colour barely changed except a small blue stain & the water after soaking was clear. Have now ordered a denim blue washing machine dye in the hope that works better as I've used them successfully before. I've also used black hand dye sachets before to darken black jeans with good results. Just this colour not very effective.
