Review: I buy black permanent STAEDLER on postcard as smudgeproof, but colours do not show on black plastic - I always buy black permanent STAEDLER pens for writing on envelops as water, saliva does not smudge the ink. They are fantastic for my competition postcard entries. For the first time I bought multicoloured permanent pens hoping to write on black charging cables to identify which device they belonged to. Unfortunately the writing does not show on black plastic so I am returning them as it is not suitable for my purposes.

**Q: So would I be able to write on a Nyrex order book folder(the clear plastic wallet) and able to rub all the marks off so that I can write over&over?**
A: Yes but you'll need something like white spirit or nail polish remover. It does stain over time, but you can, for example, make navigation lines and marks on a map, clean them off, and reuse. Worth having one of the little pots of cotton pads that already have nail polish remover on if you're using it out and about.

**Q: Can they be wiped of A map or a chart ?**
A: Yes. Use acetone/nail varnish remover/hair spray/deodorant etc to clean with a cloth. I use these all the time on aviation (laminated) charts

**Q: can the cartridge be removed**

**Q: Will these work well for outlining designs on homemade birthday cards ?**
A: I am sure they would but let them dry for a few seconds before putting your finger on them. I would use card rather than paper.
