Mini USB 2.0 Microphone, Portable USB Mini Studio Speech Microphone Recording Audio MIC Adapter PC Plug-and-play Driver-free Mac Desktop and Laptop Microphones for Computer PC(Black)

Tried this to enable me to talk on video conferences using the desktop. Amazingly it works great, you just slot it in to a usb2, wait for windows to recognise it (takes less than a min) and away you go. Point to remember: if you don't have speakers attached, you need headphones plugged into your PC to hear incoming voices. This mic just enables others to hear you. Also, as others have said, it's really small, I store mine in an old vitamin pot so it doesn't get lost... But it doesn't add any clutter either. And for the price you can't beat it, it's a bargain.

I didn’t hold much hope for this usb device but I needed something quickly, which was not bulky or elaborate, when my internal mic conked out. I was amazed at the quality of the received sound. So cheap, convenient and good. Would recommend!

Unfortunately this mic was let down by the bad build and sound quality.The USB socket was not exact so ended up being very difficult to unplug.There were only holes on one side of the mic which doesn't make it very good at 360 sound reception, at all. Even when the holes are facing me it doesn't pick up sound very well.

Out of curiosity, I ordered this to try with the Raspberry Pi 5, and...yes, it works. So far I've only tested it with a simple audio recorder app, which has worked great so far. Use this in partnership with some kind of USB audio out, or headphone adapter, or whatever you got, and it's a nice little recording setup.

I bought this because I work from home and my laptop sits under my desk. With my laptop closed people found it very difficult to hear me so I bought this as an external mic. It’s plug and play and works great. Can’t complain for just a few quid.

This was compact, sound quality was good for recording zoom meetings and meeting notes

Arrived in less than a day. Just plug in and play. Less than a fiver to pay and people can clearly hear what you say.

All I had to do was plug it into my mini Mac and it worked! The sound quality is great!
