TDS probe is good. pH probe needs special care that is not mentioned in instructions.
TDS meter is accurate (I can replicate my results over time) and likely precise. I compared output from my tap water (which is hovering around 16ppm right now) and compared it with output from a fresh ZeroWater filter (it reads 0ppm). Please note I don't have a laboratory equipment to confirm this. Nor do I have standardized TDS testing fluid. That the TDS meter works well isn't a surprise. Most TDS meters are 2 electrodes plus maybe a thermistor. They are simple compared to pH probes!A good probe from a industrial scientific firm is in the US$65-$135 range, and pH probes are complex, involving special glass, special coatings, ion exchange liquids, buffered storage solutions, etc. Please realize this when purchasing a pH meter. Your $10 meter definitely won't give you any accuracy or precision compared to a probe that really should cost at least 5x as much. The pH meter initially gave me wildly fluctuating results that I could not reproduce. I read up on other manufacturers sites about how to care for probes, and came up with this:1. When you receive the probe, make up the pH 4.00 buffer solution with the included packet. a. Use distilled water. Or use water from a new ZeroWater filter. Don't use a Brita, Mavea, or other brand as their output isn't clean enough. You can use your TDS meter to confirm this! b. I made the solution in a clean jam jar, using the packet's front and back as labels. Et voilà, sealed storage for the rest of the buffer.2. Rehydrate the probe tip by storing it in a small quantity of the pH 4.00 buffer solution. Let it soak at least 4 hours. Don't soak it in the mother lode jar as the probe actually leaches ions in/out when it is in contact with any solution.3. Calibrate the probe's pH 4.00 setting. When reading a solution:1. With probe powered off (to save batteries), let the probe sit in the solution for 1 minute before turning on the power.2. Watch the reading for 30 seconds. If it is still moving around, power off and let the probe sit for another minute.3. The probe is probably closer to ±0.1 pH (at best!) and not '±0.01 pH as the manufacturer claims.4. Rinse probe with distilled water after use, shake off excess water, and return to the pH 4.00 buffer solution for storage. If you happen to have pH probe storage solution, use that instead of the pH 4.00 buffer. Probe storage solution is the preferred storage solution. But if you have probe storage solution, what are you doing with a $10 pH meter? :)

Excellent at the price point
The pH and TDS meters appear to be quality at their price point. They are so far reasonably accurate. The TDS reading does seem to wander sometimes, but 100% accuracy isn't required for what I need it for. It included calibration materials for both meters, they also included spare batteries for both meters which was a nice surprise. The manuals are clear and easy to understand. Overall a great product.

Better then the last pen type meters I purchased
You get what you pay for, and you will never obtain super acurate testing at this price point. However, the pH pen has impressed me. Most of these pens come with calibrating solution packets that are mixed with water. The last pen I bought, calibration was obtained by selecting the pH point manually. This pen you press the calibration button and it automatically knows. I always calibrate weekly, and test to see how accurate the pen is at the end of the week before recalibrating. This pen so far has held calibration well. EC is less important to me, so I can't speak to accuracy because I don't test it. You cannot calibrate the EC meter, but I think this is typical of most at this price.

Reliable
Have been using these meters for aeroponics and they've been working well. However I did run into an issue with temperature readings, but they had a replacement delivered in less than 48 hours. When I first ran into the issue, I wasn't sure how I felt, or how fast the resolution would be so I ordered vivosun's meters, which arrived yesterday. I'm actually returning them. Didn't realize how good I had it until I tried vivosuns, which was a disappointment, bc they make other products very well.Anyway, I'll be sticking with this company for my ph/ec needs from now on.

Decent for the price. Can be relied on if calibrated every other week.
->While not as sure as the pricier meters, you can work with this if needed.->Mine started reading quite a bit over after a few weeks in a known solution. I was hesitant to re-calibrate every week with the short supply of calibration packets included, but then I found the calibration packets from Hong Kong for super cheap. (different brand, same labels)->The entire case is at least water resistant, not just the tip housing.->I rinse the business end in distilled water after every use, and keep it in a small plastic bag with the top open. Works the same as it did when first opened after months.

Good PH meter, not good EC meter.
The PH meter appears to be good. The EC is crap. Compared to my EC-963, this one's all over the place. One needs to know that there is *no* standard conversion between EC and TDS, so I would never consider a TDS measurement tool. I would get a good and solid EC meter, and do my own TDS calculation.Common conversion factors:TDS – NaCl: 0.47 to 0.50TDS – 442: 0.65 to 0.85TDS – KCl: 0.50 to 0.57You need to know which factor you want, which you are using to compare against. EC never changes, so get a good EC meter. This one is not.

ph meter not accurate
Ph meter aucune précision possible. N'a jamais la même lecture de PH après un rinçage de la sonde et remis dans le même buffer. Les ph strip sont plus précis que ce ph meter
