Live In London [DVD] [2009]

What can I say? This DVD is amazing, and shows just how brilliant a singer George Michael is. Why he's not released a live DVD before baffles me, (and he does say that it will be the only one he ever releases - what a shame!) As someone lucky enough to see George twice during the 25Live tour, (at Wembley Stadium and Manchester MEN Arena) having waited those full 25 years to see him, it was worth every second of the wait, and I'm so so glad he released this as a memento of those shows for all his devoted fans. It's really hard to choose a best part as the whole show is brilliant, but I guess I'd pick out 'I'm Your Man' (which made me scream like a 15-year old again!) and 'You Have Been Loved' (which made me cry), although I also loved 'Everything She Wants' 'Flawless' and of course, 'Careless Whisper' - a bonus on this show which I haven't seen him sing live before was 'Fantasy' which I've always thought was a great dance track. The man has it all - he makes you want to dance, he makes you scream and laugh, and his voice can make you cry. He is, without doubt, the best British Male vocalist of his era; head and shoulders above everyone else. The additional documentary 'I'd Know Him a Mile Off' is great (and the title of it beng related to one of the funniest parts!) and this is a DVD I will be watching over and over again, and will treasure forever.

Living a long life without having even one official live concert from him was worth it to finally have THIS. Sorry, it was childish but that's truly what I feel:) Seriously, I was thrilled with the video and sound quality. It was almost like being there at his concert, and I can say so as I was there (not in London but still). He is genius, his voice is better than ever. And he was obviously happy at that particular concert cause it was his home town and he couldn't hide the love for it. The show is breathtaking. Someone who never saw George Michael live will be amazed discovering that he can hold on to the 2+ hours concert being perfect showman and dancer apart from being fab composer, singer and goodlooking lad from "Last Christmas" video. I'm even envious for those who never saw him live yet, cause I really can imagine the impression of seeing THIS! The second disc with the documentary is precious. I don't know as for people who are NOT fans, maybe it will still be interesting to see the man as he is - simple, down-to-earth, candid, funny. For me it was just his naked soul. I'd like to thank David Austin on my knees for making this all possible. And I am so happy that "Jesus to a child" was included as bonus, I would miss it badly if the concert was without it! This dvd is absolutely brilliant from start to finish.I have watched it over and over again it is so good.Well worth the wait to have a brilliant live dvd of you in concert.George Michael at his best.He sings with such emotion,the songs are all fabulous.He is a true professional,he sings beautifully and gets the crowd at Earls court singing along.The background graphics on the stage are truly breathtaking,visually stunning, to watch.I was not lucky enough to get a concert ticket so this DVD is so special to see George Michael in his fantastic live concert is a must for any fan.Well done George your songs are fantastic live and the emotion and powerful voice you have is truly amazing.May you continue forever you are just stunning.I love you dancing on the dvd too,just perfect to watch.

This two-disc DVD does not disappoint. It upscales, plays and sounds beautifully on my TV, to allow the enjoyment of watching George Michael's 2009 London concert from the comfort of my living room. It was delivered in good time and arrived in perfect condition, so no complaints here.

What a great dvd, I love George Michael and seeing him perform is so much better than just listening which is also great. Gone before his time sadly.

This was the most brilliant concert from the sadly now departed George Michael. Excellent stage presentation from him, the band and the massive screens from the now demolished Earls Court.

I bought this DVD because I had seen George Michael in concert in 2008 in Toronto - and while there didn't seem to be the fast paced songs that he did in his Toronto gig, it was still a good concert to revisit. The energy levels are high, the sound quality is excellent, and the visual images are outstanding. Great for the ultimate fan of George Michael!

Well,what is there to say here! other then I got into his music way over 80s,even though he was around then.
