Was getting frustrated trying to line up the wires into the connector. This pass through tool made it a lot easier to confirm the order of the wires. Highly recommend this tool

I had read a few reviews before I bought this small kit, and most of them were favourable and given the price I thought I would take the plunge. When the kit arrived I was prepared to be underwhelmed. However, after using the crimp tool and the connectors that came with it I was really impressed. I really do like the ratcheting action of the crimping/cutting tool. I found it a little difficult to get the rj45 connectors into the tool at first but once I got used to it, it was fairly straight forward to use.I also liked the two-part pass-thru rj45 connectors that came with the kit. They really gave me a satisfying click once pushed into the lan socket. I have never really used pass-thru rj45's before but after using these one's I don't think I'll ever go back to the conventional one's.You even get some spare blades as well.Only time will tell how well the crimper will last, but so far it's working well.Don't expect miracles from this kit, but for the money you can't go wrong.

Tools like a tester feels very cheap.Can find better quality for that price. Or cheaper for the quality like this.

Cheap Crimp Gun, very easy to use. Cutting blade not so good (lasted 10 plugs). Plugs supplied are not very good, buy Vci they are better.
