Very vibrant!
I loved the packaging, it came with lots of extras like a palette, the water brush and a coloring book! There is a slight learning curve but that's just because I wanted to be more familiar with how juicy they are and how the colors translate onto paper. Once I used them in the coloring book, they were really vibrant and beautiful!

Lots of fun!
I love these markers! They allow my daughter to create watercolor looks without the mess of using traditional watercolor paints. They sit nicely in the tray which works as an excellent storage/organizer for the markers. The caps open and close easily and are secure to keep the pens from drying out.

I REALLY Tried To Make These Work- Too Expensive For Performance I Got
I have been working with watercolor for a long time. I love how I can get various textures depending on how I use them. This set of markers was REALLY expensive, but the promotional materials seemed to indicate it was super high quality, so I decided to go for it.HOW THESE COMEThese markers come in a sturdy clear plastic case which has sturdy trays in it. You can actually open the top, lay the box on its side and use the markers out of the trays nicely.COLORSThe colors vary from barely there, to intensely bright.PERFORMANCEI have to say I am VERY disappointed in these. I used them on watercolor paper with plenty of water and brushes to get some really nice performance out of these. All I got was frustration. I am posting a set of 2 photos for you of the watercolor paper I used these on. ALL of these lines were made not only on wet paper, they were IMMEDIATELY brushed with water and a watercolor brush. What I got instead of beautiful spreading watercolors was a line that stayed put almost completely. I have not had this much trouble with an artist quality watercolor marker before. Usually they really work beautifully.WHAT ABOUT THE VIDEOS?I watched the company videos and could not in any way get the same kind of performance out of these markers at all. No colors would spread, and blending was at best grade school quality looking.PRICEFor the performance I got out of these markers, I have to say that I think they are WAY overpriced. I am not sure why these are not behaving at all like they are for others using the same techniques, but they are not. All of the colors on the paper I photographed for you were DOUSED with water. There was no spreading, nothing. Just a little bit of blurry edging and that is about it.The only colors that faded to almost nothing are pretty icy light to begin with.THE BOTTOM LINEI will try to work with these again, but my experiences so far have been VERY disappointing. I was hoping to have a watercolor effect and instead I ended up with a grade school appearance.MY RATINGTWO STARS. These are nice for detail work, perhaps on watercolor or mixed media paintings. Other than that, I am not that thrilled with them. For the price I definitely expected a LOT more.If I figure out some way to get better performance out of these, I will update my review. I really spent a lot of time with them, though, and no matter what I did, it was disappointing.
