Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance

Very concise with great example pictures. Note the brits ..... this book is written by an American and to that end has words such as wrench and overhaul. Once you get your head round these little isms you too will apprieciate this book and all it contains.

Book looked good but if you are just looking to maintain your bike, fix common problems and repair/replace parts, this book is DEFINATELY not for you. Full of jargon and poor illustrations it is a book for someone who already has good engineering skills and a garage full of complex and expensive tools. It is also a little out of date with the latest bike technology General bike maintenance is not rocket science but this book makes it sound like it is.

I bought this book so that I would be able to maintain my families mountain bikes myself. The book offers very easy to follow step step guides to carry out all of the maintenance tasks you will ever need to carry out. Even providing information on tools as well. An essential guide for anyone that owns a mountain bike!

I use all the time

Very good, comprehensive, clear mtb manual. Could be slightly better with colour photos, but the diagrams are very clear. Ine if the best books, covering every aspect of bike maintenance. Very good buy. Postage also faster than stated.

Excellent book and guide Pretty experienced now but refer to Zinn if a problem crops up

This book is brilliant for me - as a beginner to mountain bike maintenance, it gives me the information and explanations I need to better understand my bike. And overall it's just an interesting read for those who love bikes!
