I have free weights and a cable machine. I was interested in the digital weight craze i was seeing building in the marketplace. So, first off, I have to say I think there is something to it. I like to mix my resistance training up with different things. For example, I do Les Mills, my own workouts, Caroline Girvan. I like this addition to my gym. I like it so much that I also purchased the Mini Squatz gym. The mini Squatz comes with a bluetooth ring that allows you to turn on and off the resistance. I find this valuable as I usually lift on my own so in case I get into trouble I just turn the resistance off! The current machine I am reviewing doesn't have this feature. I found a work-around by putting one of the silicone sticky bumpers that use you on kitchen cabinets on the resistance dial. By doing this I can easily tap the dial with my foot to turn on and off the resistance. Not perfect, but workable.
