Edison [DVD]

This all star cast movie is good.Edison is the town where the frat(First Response Armed Tatical)police team.led by LL COOL J AND Dylan Mcdermott are running the town taking the bad on there own but when they slip up a young Journalist(Justin Timberlake)trys to get justice.with the help of his broke boss played very well by Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey he takes down the frat unit.The film moves along at a good pace and at just under an hour and half doesnt drag on.

Edison is a tired old story of crooked cops tasked with cleaning up a crooked city by crooked politicians with aspirations of Government positions. I don't know how many times I've seen something similar and far superior.Whilst the acting is largely okay ,this has the feeling of a made for T.V. movie or an episode of any number of interchangable American cop drama's.If you can pick this up cheap , then its worth a watch but its the sort of movie that you can get up at any point and make a cup of tea or have a toilet brake without pausing the disk, because the plot is so transparent that you know whats going to happen throughout. The villains are villainous, the burnt out cops are over-the-top psycho's and the heroes are baby-faced and handsome, its a cop drama for the Beverly Hills 90210 generation.

Basically the plot is about special police force (the bad guys) set up to zero drug related, however as predicted corruption sets in as the group take on anothere agenda and run amok. A young reporter stumbles on the corruption and sets out to expose. The film as plenty of action supported by top class performances by Morgon freeman and Kevin Spacey

I was so surprised about how good this film was.I am a 16year old girl and love this film, my dad is 40+ and he loves it to.It basically an action movie, with a few sad bits.I think anyone that likes a bit of action movies, no matter what the age, would love this film!!

i like the actors and thats it

I enjoyed the film. Especially the relationship between Justin Timberlake and Morgan Freeman

By the numbers police corruption film . Wonderful cast , just kept expecting Harry Callaghan to show up .
