Works well, no leaks!
I’ve had my Gardena irrigation system for over 10 years. The connection between the black piping and my garden hose was leaking very badly, so I bought this to try and stop the leak. Worked perfectly. Much sturdier than the simple, shorter connector I had before. Really pleased with it.

Great idea but . . .
This is great for reducing water pressure from mains pressure to that needed in the Gardena connections. But beware this is not frostproof and if you leave it connected over winter it is likely to break if the water is frozen. Gardena does provide a warning to this effect so one should take note of this and act accordingly. I have had to replace this twice because I failed to drain correctly over the winter.

The last piece of the jigsaw!
The second of these I have bought. After installing automated watering at the front of the house I needed a pressure reduction valve- works well with the rest of the irrigation kit I bought off Amazon. The flower baskets, troughs and tubs will now be looked after while away. 👍🏻
