Crispamesh 14.7 Inch Square, Reusable Non-Stick Oven Crisping Mesh For Frozen/Unfrozen Food

I saw a similar item on a home shopping network and decided to check Amazon. I am very pleased with the price and the performance. Food is crispy without having to watch the timer and turn it. Great taste, no oil - haven't used my deep fryer since buying this sheet. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I wish it was a little more stiff. You have to use 2 hands when lifting it when there is food on it or it will collapse. I would certainly buy this again though, love it!

Used the Crispamesh for the first time using the recipe for Gwyneth Paltrow's baked french fries. They were very good! Crisp, not soggy. I did put a cookies sheet on the rack below, in case of drips, since the potatoes had been tossed with olive oil. Recommend this product and recipe. I only gave the Crispamesh 4 stars because I do not know this product will hold up with use.

OK, this thing makes frozen fries taste like Con-Agra wishes everything they conjure up would.I did not buy it to promote my health. I bought it because I occasionally buy processed food and Crispmesh makes this short-cut even faster and better tasting, too.It is cool to the touch 15 seconds after you take it out of the oven (notice the bare hands in the picture?). It takes about 15 seconds to clean, too.I haven't used it for anything other than frozen fries yet, but I plan to experiment. Stand by...

This thing works well. I've used it for frozen pizzas, making home made fries and wedges, and even put spring rolls on it. I think my primary complaint is that it is not stiff, it's flexible and things can topple easily. I use a cutting board to transfer the mesh and everything on it to and from the oven. Not a huge deal, but 4 stars instead of 5.

The Crispamesh is a good idea. The problem is that no one thought to take the time to finish the corners properly and I've had wash cloths (yes, everything SHOULD BE WASHED)get caught on the cut mesh. Otherwise, I recommend the item which allows air or heat to surround the pizza or fries one is trying to crisp.

Basically, this is a wire mesh screen with teflon coating. It has to be terribly cheap to make. The mesh is folded up and held into soft-square "corners" with what looks like springs from a ballpoint click pen. But it is a simple product and works well. Makes really crispy fries.

So - this does technically improve crisping, however in order to achieve the airflow needed for the crispiness you need to put this on the top rack, with a pan below it on the lower rack, which means that anything that drips/falls through the mesh has a chance of landing on the upper rack and requiring cleaning. Also the improved crispiness is so-so, not spectacular. I would like to give this 2.5 stars rather than 3 if that was an option.

This has been a real boon to be used in our extra large Oster Convection Oven. The oven has a 15.75 inch wide interior and this fits well. It has been handy to fix smaller pizzas and fries. I know we will find many other things can be baked in it that we want to be crisp without using oils. The non-stick surface makes for an easy clean up
