Pretty good
Sweet as I'd hoped. I may add it to some chile sauce to give it more pep.

Beyond tasty tang, semi liquid thing.
We usually don't like honey BBQ sauce in our house but this one is a must! The container is easy enough to open and close everytime, a nice rich honey flavor that isn't too overpowering, and is great with anything! The sauce comes off with a nice sweet and tangy flavor that isn't too spicy like some BBQ sauces can be. This does NOT taste like cooked honey which is a major plus, more like a standard slightly smoked BBQ sauce with honey straight out of the squeeze bottle! We like to use this with anything from chicken nuggets, rice, mashed potatoes, veggies, and even tater tots.Pros:super tasty, goes with anything, doesn't have that cooked honey taste that some others do, and easy to store.Cons: a little on the liquid side and can be a bit runny, and you'll have to buy at least two because they're just too good. (not really a con for taste but perhaps the wallet)Overall I'd definitely recommend.

Freaking Delicious!
Being that I'm a sucker for anything promising to be sweet and spicy, when I saw this sauce available from Vine, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: Sue Bee Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce, Honey BBQ, 14 Ounce (Pack of 1)This sauce is absolutely delicious! It does start off sweet with a noticeable honey flavor and then the heat kicks in. It's a decent amount of heat, while allowing the flavors of whatever spices they're using to come through. The heat is not so intense that you taste nothing at all, which is the case with a lot of hot sauces. The design of the bottle is awesome. The nozzle is such that it dispenses accurately as you squeeze the bottle and it's the type where the sauce doesn't gunk it up. This sauce is a bit thinner than some, but way thicker than say a Red Hot type of sauce. It has a slightly runnier consistency than honey alone.I provided photos of the nozzle and the list of ingredients with nutrition information.Overall, I absolutely love this sauce and even though it's a bit on the pricey side, (currently $9.19), I would buy it again.

Simple and delicious!
While being very honey forward, it’s not too sweet. The spice is a nice balance to the honey. The ingredients don’t list the spices used and I can’t tell from taste alone, but I like them a lot. It’s not hot just to be hot, it’s a nice level of spice heat that is actually a well put together blend of flavours.I like the squeeze top a lot. The sauce is thinner than some other brands so the squeeze top keeps from pouring out too much. It’s not thin like watery, just not thick like Kraft sauce for example. The thinner texture is actually nice and makes the sauce easy to distribute or dip without getting too much.I like this one enough to buy again, tough I admit not enough to break my habit of just getting the other sauce at the grocery store.

Very tangy and zesty bbq sauce, just wish it was a dollar or two cheaper
Sue Bee offers a BBQ sauce that actually tastes different than most others. It really is quite tangy and zesty but still stays true to tasting like BBQ sauce. It’s got honey and tamarind, and the right amount of garlic, vinegar, and tomato. I won’t say it’s the most complex flavor out there, but it tastes pretty damn good. I usually prefer less sweet barbecue sauces, and while I would prefer this one to be a bit less forward on the sweetness, it still gets a green light from me. I’d also prefer this sauce to be a bit less runny, but it’s far from a dealbreaker. My last critique is on the price of this bottle, but it’s not horrible by any means. You can definitely find other great sauces at about a third of the price of what Sue Bee offers, but I think it’s fine to splurge on this occasionally. The taste really does make up for most of the shortcomings.

Just the right amount of tangy intensity
A good barbecue sauce should be potent and appropriately spicy, since its taste will be mitigated by the savory flavors of meat. A quick finger taste of this sauce gives me exactly what the packaging describes: tangy, spicy sweetness with the flavor of honey and a little kick. We used this to make pulled pork sandwiches, and even with the merged flavors of swiss cheese, cabbage and bread, this sauce made the meat the star of the show.No unwanted notes at all, spicy without being eye-watering. I also love Polynesian hamburgers and always blend ketchup and barbecue sauce on top of a good burger, with melted cheese and a slice of pineapple. This Sue Bee sauce will be perfect for it and I can’t wait to give it a try.

A Bit Hot For My Tastes Although Also Very Flavorful
Review of Sue Bee Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce, Honey BBQ, 14 Ounce (Pack of 1) (Sweet & Spicy BBQ) sold by Sioux Honey Association, CooperativeReceived with a Best By date approximately 8 months from date of receipt.Found this flavorful but it was a little too spicey hot for my tastes. Since this is a little thinner I was able to spread this out a little more on my test chicken which helped.I used to make my own barbeque sauces and have always used honey in these and try to reduce or limit the amount of brown sugar so this sauce met that criteria.I will wait a while but would probably go with their original sauce as I expect that that would match my tastes as I never developed much of appreciation for hot foods.
