The design means you can't see the result till you take it off so there's less temptation to cheat. Then it holds the result nicely while you write it down. When measuring someone else it's very hassle free and doesn't require your client to hold still while you read the tape. The tape is double sided so you can use it for measuring around the body on one side and on the other it's like a conventional tape measure counting from zero. I would recommend this if you're going to be taking measurements regularly.

**Q: Are the measurements in inches? some have said yes and some have said in CM's only ...**
A: Only CM. It is very good quality, so I recommend it. You can certainly find other brand that do inches, but still this one works better.

**Q: does the measurements come in centimeter?**
A: Both cm & inches

**Q: On the picture it shows the measurement starting at 7cm - i'm confused by this? is this a mistake? is it possible to measure from 0? thank you**
A: One side of the tape measures from zero and the other side measures from 7cm and that’s because the casing is 7cm wide. It makes it easy to read the correct result like that. However, you need to be careful which side of the tape you are reading from.

Great product as I have experienced now with all Seca equipment, well made, looks the part, professional and easy to use. A must buy. Only down side is that it only shows measurements in cm and not inches also. But a minor flaw.
