Not worth the money
very disappointed with the quality of this item, I think Kodak name must have been bought by someone, as it does not seem to be of the quality you would expect from Kodak. It did not really work with slides or negatives. Still waiting for my refund.

No so great
This seems to be something of a Box Brownie. It’s easy to put together but I wasn’t expecting to find cardboard collars to create space between the phone and the slide. My results weren’t great but I accept that part of this was due to having 1/2 frame 35mm slides as a source. This means half the area (maybe 1/4 of the resolution of a full 35mm slide). The software was okI might try using it with colour negatives. After trying this I bought a £20 light box and was getting better results that with this product.

How was it?
For me. The App doesn’t work as per instructions. My best results were achieved using the Scanner unit and camera on phone, bypassing the App.

Incompatible with latest mobile iPhone
Totally useless product, does not work with latest multi lens (iphone) cameras.Impossible to focus on slide as the camera lens hole on the box is too small for one lens, let alone three. The Kodak app is also poor and needs updating, returned to Amazon for a refund.

Pay a bit more and getting a better scanner!
Easy enough to set up but I did worry that the main part is cardboard that it would not last long.I tried it on colour negatives and regrettably the light on the box does not give accurate colours. Ok maybe good for looking at what's in your negatives buy certainly not for archive reasons. Also, the frame on the box is central and most cameras, ir iPhone, Samsung, Google do not have their camera centralised so take a bit of jiggery mockery to centre the slide or negative to shoot.
