I have only used this once but liked the flavour. I popped popcorn seeds in oil and added a teaspoon of this salt. It did give a lovely salted flavour to the popcorn and I will use again. I have heard that popping the seeds with coconut oil and this salt creates a nicer flavour popcorn.

amazing stuff, it really does taste like the cinema!, i live in the uk and wasn't sure if it would be the same over here as in america but this confirms it is!pro tip: use coconut oil with this sprinkled on top of the kernels (best popcorn ever) also if you have a healthy heart melt some "real" butter in the microwave and drizzle on top of your popcorn once it's in the bowl (heaven)side note: do not sprinkle this over your ready made popcorn, you don't need much in the pan but if for some reason it's not salty enough just use regular salt to sprinkle

This is a good addition to get the real "movies" popcorn. Just a little is enough to add flavour as it's really salty. I usually add a flat teaspoon, but it naturally depends on the amount of popcorn you are making. Needed a few times to nail the right amount but considering it will last very long the price is more than okay.

Was brought one of these a while back from a friend who knows I'm a popcorn addict. Yet strangled enough I was able to recreate the same taste and flavour profile from buying a 29p container of table salt and blending it down in a food processor. Does the same job.

After reading all the reviews, I was hoping the secret to making 'cinema popcorn' at home would be unveiled. Unfortunately, it tastes much more like salted microwave popcorn than cinema popcorn.
