Not the sharpest of pins
The backs do fit well to the little pins, but the pins are really small, so not the easiest to hold when trying to pierce them through my little awareness ribbons...Makes it more difficult due to the fact that they are a little blunt on the tips..I found I need to pierce a little hole in the ribbon before I can push the pin in to hold it together.Makes a rather fiddly job, even more frustrating!Next time, I'll look for pins that are less difficult to pierce the ribbon!

Much better than the rubber butterfly backs they were replacing
After losing yet another rubber pin back, I decided to buy metal ones. The cost was very reasonable, plus I have plenty spares, if I ever need them.

Pin not long enough
The actual pin itself isn't long enough when pushing through thick material,like a lapel or coat, the clasp drops off.
