Such Textiles Purple Nylon Ripstop Fabric (Per Metre)

Bought this as a sample both in colour and weight for some garden shade sails for my son. The colour is as the picture ,bright and vibrant and its lightweight too. It is easy to sew and I used the small amount I bought to make a cover for an outdoor cat pen. It works really well even in the heaviest downpour the rain just runs straight off and so far the wind or sunshine we have had hasn't touched or faded it either.Not sure this will be the colour my son will choose but think we have found the fabric for his garden sails.

This is a strong, durable fabric. I have used it to make a hairdresser’s cape. It’s easy to use and won’t need any hemming. I got purple...so much nicer than the ordinary black capes.

This fabric is a super fabric for an assortment of uses. It is very lightweight and is reasonably waterproof but will not survive much by way of washing - very few waterproof fabrics do - but it is very strong for its weight and very durable and tear and fray resistant! We've used it for kites, bunting, clothing bags, kids ponchos and a super-light underground sheet for an extended charity cycle tour. If you need something more waterproof, better suited to clothing go for a coated waterproof ripstop!
