MK EdgeK14347BSSW 13A 2-Gang Double Pole Switch Socket

I bought my first batch of brushed steel MK Edge sockets over twelve years ago and they still look great today.All sockets & corresponding switches work, the finish is as good now as they were when new.As a single component with a sturdy steel front they are superior to the cheaper competition with plastic backs and clip on flimsy thin steel fronts.These are now a discontinued line, but I was lucky enough to find a new one for sale on Amazon for my new socket so that I was able to have a consistent look without having to replace the existing ones.

This product seems well made, looks very good and works well. I bought three and am very pleased with them.

Good quality but expensive for what it is.

The Edge sockets are very tricky to install as the mk housing at very tight leaving little room for cable .... also the wall finish needs to be spot on otherwise it shows up being flat

Nice finish in brushed stainless steel. Wires easy to align into back of socket even when there is not much slack. My only criticism would be the size of the terminal screws which are somewhat smaller than most other manufacturers. Just make sure you have a perfect fitting screwdriver for the head to ensure tightening can be positively made without damaging the screw.

Excellent design, fits very close to the wall and looks stylish. We got it when we refitted the kitchen. The electrician said it had plenty of space for the wires behind the face plate.
