I bought this shoe for the wide fitting option together with the Vibram sole. It is a very comfortable shoe and the Vibram sole provides great grip on most surfaces. The only issue is that the shoe is not remotely water resisting or water repellant. Before buying, I did read comments from Amazon buyers on this subject but thought that surely any walking shoe would resist ingress of water when walking through wet grass, this one doesn't. I apologies for doubting the various authors who made this point. Having said that, the shoe is comfortable and grippy and certainly suitable for day to day wear in dry conditions and possibly light rain. If you are looking for a walking shoe for long walks or low fell/moorland walking in the UK, although this shoe is great for comfort and grip its lack of resistance to even low water pressure renders it a risky proposition for long walks when weather conditions can't be guaranteed.

La talla no corresponde, llego un 9.5 de mujer, que es mucho más pequeño, la referencia al momento de la compra especifica que es de hombre. En mi caso para envíos a Colombia la devolución me puede llegar a costar dos veces más que el valor del mismo producto, entonces perdí dinero en la compra y me quede con unos zapatos muy pequeños. En cuanto a la calidad del producto, es Merrell, es bueno, pero este modelo especifico no es funcional para superficies húmedas, se vuelve muy resbaloso.

Missfallen hat mir nur die Farbe, zwar ist schwarz keine Farbe, war aber meine eigene Wahl. Trotz meiner breiten Füße haben die Schuhe gepasst. Sie sind bequem, auch auf nassen Feldwegen ziemlich rutschfest und im Schnee und feuchten Wiesen bleiben die Füße trocken. Was kann man mehr von Schuhen verlangen?

These seem like very solid, well made shoes and the fit is perfect. I did add insoles due to issues with my feet. I wear these very day and have also done some hiking in them with good results. I will definitely be buying these again.
