Mega Greens Perfectly Healthy Powder

I've never actually tasted a cow pat - and now I don't need to! I bought this stuff to do a cleanse which was a fast for six days with nothing but a lot of water and some green powder and liquid chlorophyll. The benefit to my health has been amazing but I think it's more to do with the fasting than the green powder. Even so, it meant that despite not eating for nearly a week, my body still received some nutrition from the powder. I have had m.e. for many years, I've tried every which way to get my health and energy back - fasting has been really helpful, I feel better than I've felt for years and years. The green powder doesn't taste great but if you're ill, taste is completely irrelevant, you just have to swallow weird things that may help. Likewise, fasting isn't the most comfortable experience but the recent research showing that a fasting body is a body that gets a chance to heal itself, is very convincing. It certainly has worked for me.

Really like this brand. Stronger, more 'robust' taste than some other makes, but I prefer this to their blandness. Other reviewers have mentioned it's a little bitter & a tad gritty tasting - fair comment but I quite like this! Quenching and energising which your body will thank you for. Great alkaline drink designed to neutralise the damaging effect of all that acid we bombard our systems with each day. I'm ordering some more...

I expected this to taste really bad but I find it quite palatable. Maybe my palate is not as sensitive as others. I take once daily in small glass of water and make sure to thoroughly mix in with spoon and chase with a second glass of water. I do have a healthy diet and this is an add on to make sure I get some MSM and strong greens algae etc. From the ingredients list it appears to offer a good level of nutrition. Too early to tell whether this becomes a regular supplement for me. Good quality product and delivery service.

Well, 2 days in and all I can say is the taste is pretty appalling! I fear it will leave a permanent sneer on my face. However, I didn't buy it for the taste. Working long hours and being a lazy cook results in me feeling I do not get enough 'greenage' down me. Too early to say if this product does anything but if I can get used to the taste, I'm sure there will be some benefits. Will update if hair sprouts or energy overwhelms me! UPDATE - 7 days in I've gotten used to the taste now but wouldn't go as far to say that i enjoy it. i'm also constipated and haven't 'been' since starting this (300 ml per day). can't say i blame this product and i think when i do 'go' it'll be a sight. no more energy. no more hair. less appetite tho - just this in the car on the way to work seems fine. this could be related to being bunged up tho.

I bought this a month or so ago while on a 30+ Men's Fitness plan (30plusmensfitness.com), I have to be honest....I hated the taste at first. But I realised it wasn't the taste...I found the taste was ok, like a veg stock you'd make a gravy out of. What I disliked, and the reason for the low score, is the 'bitty' texture. It doesn't dissolve in water (or anything), it just floats and clumps up. This is difficult to drink then, as the bits can feel like they are stuck in your throat. If you bolt the drink without stopping, it's ok. I even tried it in a smoothie, in hot water (like a green tea), I tried putting some in an omelette mix (which wasn't bad) and in some other foods in an attempt to use it. The ingredients are fantastic to get in a greens drink, and it's cheaper than many I've seen, so it's something that is good in that sense, and would be 4 or 5 if not for the way the powder floats and clumps.

I have totally wasted my money on this as it is undrinkable. The taste actually had me feeling nauseas and I had to pour the remainder away. I'm sure I could find something better tasting. Don't waste your money on this.

My son has taken this product for years alongside fitness training and is very healthy individual. He suggested I took it after major surgery. After just over a week I began to feel much better and my energy improved (had a slight degree of anaemia post operatively). Brilliant stuff, though the taste is a challenge, but persevere it does you the world of good!

I have had this product before and find it makes me feel energised. I put a scoop full in a smoothie every and find that it doesn't taste too bad. I can't mix it with water and drink it that way as I don't like the taste of it that way.

I have tested these on myself for the past 2 weeks and find that they are nearly the same as the Innerlight International Super Greens. Same size package, the powder looks the same. It smells somewhat the same, the ingredients are close, however, these are put together by a group of Medical Doctors. My blood sugar drops about the same within an hour after taking one 12 ounce glass of bottled water with one provided scooper of them in the water. The price of the Mega Greens is about half the cost, because you are not buying it where Inner Light pays a hefty commission to the sales person on the pyramid selling system. I have been taking Super Greens religiously, since Feb 2003 for my diabetes. My first 3 months, I lost 45pounds, and I have not gained back an ounce of fat in all those years. For the first ten years of taking the Super Greens to manage my diabetes, it worked without any prescription medicine. Then, as I was turning 80, I have had to supplement it with Januvia prescription to try to keep my blood sugar down. (For the past two years, now, 9-15-2016, I had dropped the Januvia, because it caused my joints to ache so badly, that I had to stop it, because I was becoming crippled from the pain in my hips. I dropped the Januvia, after reading about its affect on some people, on an FDA news release, in later 2015. It has taken me almost a years to stop my hips hurting.) It appears like I will be able to maintain all that I have been doing with the Super Greens, so I have switched to Mega Greens. I will see how it continues to treat me for the whole 8 oz. jar in a month or so. I still rate the Mega Greens with 5 stars, now, in 9-15-2016, however, I find that leafy green vegetables do not mix with my prescription drug, Plavix and Baby Asperin. It tends to lower my blood platelets, so I am looking for something similar, that does not thin my blood. I still cheer for Mega Greens, for people who are not on blood thinners. Bill Mitchell

great great product! i pack the powder into empty gel pills and take a handful every day that way as i don't really love the taste of the drink but still get the great benefits of the product. you really will notice a difference in yourself and your health while taking this!!

Maria Lobanovsky I chose this product on recommendation by a nutritionist. It lasts a long time because you only use one small scoop at a time. The flavor does not interfere with the other things you may want to add to your smoothie. Seems to be a quality product.

I can't get past the smell, but the taste isn't bad.

This stuff might be the best thing for my body but I have a very hard time choking it down. The sage in it overpowers everything I mix it with. It's disgusting. I would never recommend it or would I buy it again. A very expensive mistake.
