Faultless 1 X Hot Iron Cleaner, 28g

This is an excellent product .. I bought this as I had dropped a hot iron .. that landed face down on to a rug ... which meant it picked up pile from the rug; this cleaner removed all the mess from the rug .. and much more ... iron plate hasn't looked this clean since I bought the iron ... very, very pleased with this iron cleaner.

This item is BRILLIANT!My iron had a big dark patch on it, which i honestly didn't think was going to come off so didn't really think about trying to see if it would, until I was ironing my daughters white top and it marked the top.It took nearly the whole tube, which is quite small, but it worked! I needed to fold the tea towel , with the paste on, to make a ridge which seemed to work better then being flat, if that makes sense?Anyway, it worked a treat, definate value for money, easy to use and quite fast too!

The clarify I am reviewing the Faultless Iron cleaner.I have a Tefal steam iron that I have had for over seven years. In that time it has had some heavy use and as you can see from the photos some accidents here and there where I have burnt logos on T-shirts etc. I've got to the stage where it was becoming a risk to iron other clothes because sometimes it would damage them by leaving the residue that years of abuse had caused to the iron, onto the garment.I was about to buy a brand new iron but after seeing that the one that I wanted were all in the range of around £140 I figured it had to be worth giving it a shot. Especially as this only cost £5. Well I have to say that was money extremely well spent as you can see from the photos. I did end up using pretty much the whole tube but I did follow the instructions well, for a change. The outcome has been well worth it and hopefully breathed a few more years life into my iron. I would say the whole process took about 10 to 15 minutes. I put the solution on the cloth. Made sure there was no water on the iron and gave a good circular action clean over all the areas. I made sure that I refolded the cloth each time so I had a fresh clean bit of cloth to put the cream on. Good luck and I hope you get the same outcome.Last note. Make sure you use it in a well ventilated area near a window preferably or even outside if you can because the fumes aren't very pleasant when they burn up on the iron.

I wasn't expecting that much but the cream worked perfectly. Hot iron. Rub cream on with cotton cloth and you can see the residue just melt away. Easy to clean up afterwards and, while there was a little smoke/evaporation, it was manageable with an open window. Smell was negligible.

Real struggle with the product. It was ok and finally did the job.

This product works well. It's easy to use and it does work. It removed all the debris on my iron sole plate and left it looking almost new. There is not much to it, simply make sure the iron is hot, spread the cleaner on the affected areas, leave for a short while and then wipe off. The debris comes away. I recommend.

Really good cleaning power brought my iron like new again. Smells a bit but nothing you can’t handle. Easy to use good quality and value for price.
