Sandalwood Nag Champa - 100 Gram Box - Satya Sai Baba Incense

I've ordered many many types of Sandalwood and this by far is the best. I truly don't understand the negative reviews? So much incense smells smoky after burning. This does not. I purchased for my husband and he is in love with it (hopefully not more than me). It's very very pleasant. The actual scent lingers and lingers. No smokey after effects at all. He even stole a few sticks to put in a zip lock for his business travels. I'm a chick who likes masculine scents even though I like glitter and girly things. This guy in like Charles Ingles and loves it. Honestley I don't know what more you can 'expect' from a fragranced stick or many for the price? It's good stuff..so relax, take a deep breath and it's all good. I included a full box for his birthday basket after he smelled a few samples from a previous order of mine. Really and truly the scent lingers for a very long time. My Korean and southeast Asian neighbors always comment on how nice my apartment smells. He is straight up white, me a mixed black and white chick, well I'll take the compliments from the real folks who have this scent in their daily lives. Not the trendy trader joes or whole foods types where the uniform is yoga pants (seriously). This is good stuff. Oh side note even my neighbors from Bangladesh love it too. For the record I live in Los Angeles in the mini cities of Koreatown and Little Bangladesh. But neither me or my husband are of any of the above. We regularly get props from the real folks (immigrants) who vouch for what we have scenting our home and patio. Gee whiz folks are so picky here.

In my experience, when it comes to adding scents to to a room, the lightest touch is a candle. Joss sticks are a step up in intensity and permeation, then regular incense sticks or cones. This Satya Sandalwood is one degree of heaviness beyond that. What makes this stand out is that the scent is so intense and heavy. It's not like a natural, more pure sandalwood such as you'd find in the better quality joss sticks, this is definitely impregnated with sandalwood oil, which is not a bad thing.If you just want the sandalwood scent in the air, most sandalwood incenses or candles will do a good enough job of it. What makes this incense stand out is that it's smoke will permeate a room, leaving everything with a sandalwood overtone scent long after the incense stick is burned out. I prefer that sometimes because it's the scent that I love, not smoke in the air.

Overall the Sandalwood incense is great. I love the smell, the price is perfect, and I haven't found another one quite as good online. I use it to do clearings in my house and I have not been disappointed with the results (Sandalwood has been used for centuries to clear negative energies). Plus, I love Sage, but when I know I'm going to have people over I don't like to use it just cause it has such a powerful aroma.The cons:It comes in a large quantity and they are not individually wrapped. So basically they end up being very powdery and messy which is a bit troublesome when trying to get just one out and go. If they packaged it better it would definitely get a 5, but because of the mess I had to give it a 4 star...Great incense though!

This incense is really top notch. If you're looking for a clean, lightly floral but earthy sandalwood incense...I don't think there is better. I disagree that it doesn't smell exactly like it should. Perhaps it is because I've enjoyed the Nag Champa for many years. It is very calming and lingers well for hours. In fact, I'm enjoying it right now.

Sandlewood has always been my favorite scent, and nag champa never fails to bring quality. Even before you open the box, you can smell the fragrance. Upon opening the box there are a bundle of sticks in a plastic sleeve all of them upon my own inspection are very dense and not low quality and falling apart as some incense can be prone to. Takes to an ember easily, and has a very steady even burn. Can be overwhelming in a small space mind you but if you give it time to settle and airate the smell is way less smokey and more fragrant. Awesome product, would definitely recommend.

This fragrance is another real Nag product, however when this was received there was an opening somewhere in the sealed wrapper that had my front door area smelling wonderful. After I removed the cellophane seal, this fragrance lost its power after 10 days. The sealed wrapper does make an enormous difference. It still smells like sandalwood, however nowhere near as strong as when it was delivered.

Strong smells -- my mailbox smelled for days. I burn these often, I also store them in my dresser so my clothes absorb all the yummy smells. I often get compliments after I have burned this in my home.
