Perfect replacement for HP Elitedesk 705 g4 mini
I have a 705 g4 mini. The original fan's foam started to crumble, and then the bearing lost lubrication and overheated. This replacement fits perfectly, and the foam is fresh. Runs quietly and effectively. It did come in a plastic bag and Amazon's standard white/blue bubble wrap envelope as others reported, but there was no damage to the unit I received.

It works well- packaging is subpar
The fan works like the old one did. It isn't exactly quiet, but that's more so the fault of the design of the Elitedesks(at some point they made the fans go at 100% at all times). Still slightly quieter than the one I replaced, so I am glad enough to have it. What I would say is that they do a rather subpar job on packing. Just a plastic bag with a zipper seal. The first one I received had a broken plastic leg and I immediately opened the return request. The second made it here in perfect condition. Another thing to note is that it is very close to the original, which means that you can't lubricate the bearing still, which is really the only reason these things fail. Still going with a third party, they are affordable enough. HPs are nearly 6x the price, so this is an excellent alternative.

Genuine Manufacturer Replacement
The received item was a genuine HP replacement part that works perfectly. Hopefully, it will work for a long time, as I'm not too certain that a replacement will be available if I need another years from now.
