It's all right
I take this golf training mat out to the driving range to check my swing after I have hit a few range balls. It does give you an idea of whether your swing is "inside" or "outside", which helps you to try to figure out adjustments in your swing path. Even with the stakes holding it down, you do have to do some maintenance after about every swing. Overall, it's not bad. It will probably last longer than when I get tired of using it.

It’s alright
Overall, the mat is alright, I don’t know that it will hold up for a long time though especially if you chunk it a few times. It does a decent job of tracking the path of your swing though often times the area is larger than what you actually hit which makes your swing path seem odd. The golf balls don’t hold up well to any sort of hits though before crumpling so they are basically pointless with a full long iron swing. Personally wouldn’t buy for this kind of training.

Good tool for beginners
As a beginner in golf, I need all the help I can get - I watch a lot of videos, record myself from various angles when I practice in my front yard, etc., and I figured this would be a good indicator of how I am swinging. To a certain degree, it does show me the path and angle I am taking in my swing, so I adjust accordingly. I sometimes have a hard time figuring out what happened after a swing since the mat may look somewhat disheveled, but more often than not, it does provide good information as to what I am doing wrong. My swing has steadily improved and now balls are not flying everywhere at crazy angles, so if I can improve my swing, you can too (trust me, I was terrible). For beginners, this is a really good tool that you may find useful; if you're an experienced golfer, then I highly doubt you will need this.Overall, it's a great little practice tool that will slowly help you improve your swing, which is the whole point behind it.

Swing feedback is questionable
Description: This is essentially rows of sequins sewn to cloth that are green on one side and white on the other. At first glance it seemed very flimsy BUT it held up to a couple dozen swings with NO damage.PROS:+ Surprisingly durable. At one point there were a dozen sequins that were turned around but with tweezers I was able to twist them and the matt looked almost as good as new again.+ It did somewhat show the swing path. You will get feedback if you are swinging outside in or vice versa.+ It did reset very easily+ I would expect it to be very useful for a beginner.CONS:- Sometimes the path was 30% wider than the club with the top edge being straight and the bottom being curved. What does that mean ?- I purposely hit the matt with the club face about 30% open, squared up and 30% closed. The path shown is identical ... because I went straight through Since a normal swing comes in slightly open, should square up in the middle and then close after passing the ball ... I don't think you can get any club face information.- Not useful for putting. At least my stroke the club just skimmed the surface the whole time. Since you can't see the face angle anyway ...

An Interesting Idea
After many years away from golf I’m starting to get back into it. This seemed like a way to do a little practicing. I wasn’t sure what I would be getting when I ordered it. It folds up into a small box. You unroll the pad outside and stake in the four corners with the provided stakes. You can then use your own golf balls or the three light plastic ones provided to practice swings. The material is designed so that when you strike the pad and golf ball, you leave a mark in the nap of the pad, indicating where your swing was. You can then just take the head of the club and reverse the direction of the swing, removing the marking on the pad and you’re ready for another try.I’m not sure this will make a major difference in the development of someone’s golf skills, but it works well for some practice swings by helping one see the direction of their club head.

cheap, way smaller than it seems
This is WAY smaller than I thought it would be! I am so disappointed. The lines are too close together that when you have a line form it just all blends together essentially. The quality is definitely lacking. I knew that it was sequins that would show you your swings path when you strike the ball, but what path?? It’s so small that it’s just one path covering the entire square essentially. I will definitely be getting a larger one of these somewhere else.

For the golf fan in your life
I got this for a friend's father as a retirement gift as he loves to golf and thought it would help him with his swing. It's easy to use and comes with a complete set, but the mat just sticks to the sturdier mat underneath and coming all rolled up, I had to set heavy books on top of it for a few days in order to flatten it out and get everything to stick properly. He loves it though and said he hope it helps him with his upcoming golf trip.

Surprisiingly durable with somewhat strange results...
So this is a nice and durable swing analyzer. It seems to be holding up well. The issue I have, which was mentioned by others is while you see your swing path, something it is bigger than you club head, which is weird.I suspect what is happening is the pieces that fold over when hit, catch the ones next to it, that weren't touched, thus creating a bigger than life sing path.I does show the direction properly so that is a plus, but I'd also like to see exactly how when I am getting my club to the grass and through the ball. It really isn't reliable for that.
