good unit, eats batteries,works as advertised, fun to use and one problem waves do effect the accurate feet readings . also moving readings are less accurate. with more use, can add to the review.

I used this VECTORCOM Portable Wireless Fish Finder on a recent fishing trip to a Montana Lake. I was able to cast it at least 200-ft from the shore and see the bottom structure and fish. It was critical in catching a bunch of Northern Pike and Walleye. I have used other similar Finders and this was the easiest and best I have used.

received product just fine took it out of box read manual put batteries in it and turned it on the setup screen came on fine but the control head would not receive signal from the transducer changed battery and still nothing

It worked for a while, but suddenly became dodgy. The Finder doesn't receive a signal from wireless sonar sensor frequently, even when they are only a few meters apart. I contacted the seller, which tried to blame environment interference for the malfunction, but it is clear that it can't be the cause in this case.Since the problem persisted for a few months and the seller is not responding to my emails anymore, I have to rate it as a bad product.

Was ok the litium battery ran out quick and finder does not show the size of fish but for value its not bad im sure il be able to find fish tho in winter
