I liked the smell
I liked the smell. I liked the idea. I did not have any adverse skin reactions (as I've had with other natural deodorants.) However, I didn't find this effective. I would start to smell by the end of the day.

Very hard...and not in a good way
VERY hard product. Liberating it from the bar to the freedom of my pits requires great strength. Will not buy again.

There's no perfect deodorant, but this is GOOD!
Best natural deodorant I've found! (I've tried MANY from health food stores, mail-order, home-made recipes, etc.) I had given up and reverted back to conventional drug store, harmful chemical-laden antiperspirants when I ran across Handcrafted HoneyBee's Smarty Pits deodorants. I just purchased my 3rd "tube." My teenage children even like it and each have a supply in their favorite scents. It's not perfect, but it's as close as I have found.Pros:- pre-biotics seem to do a better job stopping odor than other natural deodorants !!- aluminum free !!- phthalate free- paraben free- gluten free- propylene glycol free- alcohol free- triclosan free- sensitive skin formula option, baking soda free- magnesium in sensitive skin formula !!- variety of scents available (sample/travel sizes on the company's website)- % of proceeds to charities- small family business- made in USA - small town, California- I visited the manufacturing facility & saw their attention to CLEAN PROCESSING PRACTICES (hair covered with shower cap type coverings, street clothes covered with clean lab coat type coverings, etc.).Cons:- no natural deodorant seems to totally stop odor- this one only stops odor about 12 hours under best conditions- odor is present sooner with added stress and/or heat- formula doesn't easily glide onto skin but works better when rubbing it slowly along skin, allowing it to warm up to body temp. as it transfers to skin
