The Cars: Heartbeat City

I have always been a Cars fan, & consider them my fifth favourite band. With that said, here are the pros & cons of this video as I see it, I hope this helps you.Pros:1. Contains music videos: Hello Again, Magic, Drive, Panorama, Heartbeat City, Shake It Up, Why Can't I Have You, You Might Think.2. Making of Hello Again is a nice little extra3. Hello Again is the uncensored version which is great! (If you are looking for the G version from M-TV or if you have a problem with nudity for some reason, you might be disappointed as this video is not rated)Cons:1. The Cars had so many other music videos that were not included, like Tonight She Comes, I wish the DVD contained all of their music videos2. In my opinion Panorama was not one of their better videos or songs3. Sound quality could be better4. Totally DVD length is only 48 minutes

I own the fantastic quality original 80's Japanese Laserdisc edition of this title from and I confess that I wasn't expecting nothing out of this world from this DVD release, but it was a good surprise when I played it on my Denon 32 bit player! This Warner Archive DVD has excellent quality! Picture is crystal clear and sound quality is top quality too! Maybe the Japan Laserdisc has better colours, but if you cannot get a copy of the Japan LD you can buy this DVD-R from Amazon and enjoy this great compilation of 80's classics! I also think that Warner Archive is doing well in releasing stuff like this from the archives. More like this please!

this is just a small collection of the cars mtv videos. rick ocasek is interviewed with andy warhol for5 minutes and they show em’ making a video. they must have recorded it off of youtube. notworth the price. i got ripped don’t you. sorry rick........

I really like the Cars videos, but this took me by surprise without any warning. The DVD is not rated and it should be because the " Hello" video is uncensored. I had no idea that it contained some nude segments and I was quite embarrassed. It needs to have a rating on it. Unfortunately, I will have to return it. It was packaged nicely and it did arrive on time. If it had been censored like it was on MTV, I would have given it 5 stars.

Playing in my upconverter 4k unit the reason i bought was for DRIVE videoPurchasing AI software to further enhance then post on u tube for all for freeDidnt know Warner special products did this 'on demand' disc. WOULDA PAID DOUBLEYAY!

One of the best music video collections ever! The quality is so good. Music fabulous. Everything professionally coordinated.

Nice collection of Cars videos, most of which I had never seen, and featuring some interesting guest stars in their early days. For any serious Cars fan that missed this, it's a "must have" item.

I ordered The Cars Heatbeat City DVD. I received a correctly printed case and DVD disk but there is no The Cars Heatbeat City videos in the DVD. Instead, there is only a very boring B&W Anne Of Green Gables movie; nothing else. On top of slow shipping, it is VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL
