Q: What is the depth of the interceptor? My couch sits really low. About 1 inch clearance between bottom of leg and the couch.

The interior depth of the traps is almost exactly 1 inch.

Q: Is this good for ticks?

I honestly don’t know the answer, however, I would venture on the side of yes. I have found Beatles, ants and even a spider or two in my interceptors. The outside is lightly textured to allow for the little critters to crawl up the side walls. Once they fall in the valley between the walls the sides are smooth and the bugs get no traction and thus are trapped. I would guess it should work the same for ticks.
