Sturdy and comfortable.
For the price I was a little worried but it’s surprisingly rugged. I have another similar one which goes across my neck and is irritating and painful. The cross back strap is great. A bit awkward and shorter than my belly needs, but just enough to tie it up. Hopefully it will keep me from ruining so many shirts.

Not a cooking apron
My fiance loves to make his own bread but he gets flour all over himself when he does. I got this hoping that it would help since there were so many pockets and it looked sturdy enough to withstand it. Well... this isn't a cooking apron. It's like, a wood working apron or some other working apron.

Very Nice Apron
I requested this when it came available through the Vine Program because I frequently use aprons to protect my clothes, and I like the versatile look of this one. It's actually an aesthetic that I've seen on cooking competition shows that have both male and female participants and I've always liked the way they look.I have to say I really like this one in person. The material is a very good quality and is thick enough to protect your clothes from just about any kitchen or grilling mishap. It was difficult for a minute to figure out how the straps were supposed to go, but after reviewing the pictures in the ad I was able to suss it out quickly and put it on correctly. It's plenty large, I'm 5'8" tall and wear a 2x-3x in shirts and have plenty of length in the ties to tie this apron with a bit of length to spare, so it definitely fits a plus size physique. This came with 2 cleaning cloths that are really nice, and the apron itself has plenty of pockets for anything you want to keep close to hand when you're working - which I find very handy to have. All in all this is a very good quality apron and the price is very reasonable. It's 3 dollars less than an apron of similar quality that I bought a couple years back so the price is very reasonable.I washed this in the machine and hung it to dry, then used a light iron and it worked very well - though there aren't any care instructions for the apron. I would recommend anyone take this route for cleaning due to the addition of "leather" accents. (I'm unsure whether it's real leather or PU, but I'm fairly certain it's the PU or faux leather variety, either way I wouldn't think the dryer is a good place for it).All in all, price considered I give 5 stars and definitely recommend. Any chef, home cook or grill master, likely male or female, would like this apron, though men may enjoy the aesthetic a little more.I absolutely see this as a giftable item - though you want to buy a gift box for presentation if you do.

Great work apron!
First impression was that it was a decent apron. Came folded and vacuumed packed, so I left it hanging up overnight to let it unfold and air out. I started using it the next day, but I wanted to wait a couple weeks before writing my review to see how it held up:The Good:* The apron material is nice and thick, like a pair of jeans, but still pliable enough to move with you as you are working.* The clasps that hook onto the top of the apron are nice quality, as well as the grommets you hook them to.* I like the understated, but sleek, look of the apron and the darker jean material comes in handy when you’re in the kitchen making a mess. The description says black, but it’s a dark blue denim not black, which I think looks better.* All the material and components were very good quality, except for the faux leather on the straps and to hold pens on the apron that just looked tacky and brought down the rest of the apron.* I followed their instructions on how to put on the straps, they come separate in the vacuum seal, which makes a crisscross on your back but easy to put on.* I find that aprons often move up my chest and I have to constantly pull them down all day, but this apron doesn’t do that. I don’t know if its because of the jean material being heavy enough to keep it weighted down, or because of their placement of the grommets on the chest part of the apron. This is where a lot of aprons go wrong and put the holes too close together or too far apart causing the apron to sit weird on my chest (probably not an issue for guys but if you are a female with breasts you probably have felt the same struggle.* It’s machine washable. Why anyone would make or buy a work apron that requires handwashing or dry cleaning is unimaginable to me, but there are a lot of them out there. The Bad:* Not sure how long it will survive in the washing machine and why deducted a star. The first time I washed it (even on the gentle cycle) there were strings starting to poke out from the seams. I have attached pictures of the errant thread.* The faux leather just looks cheap and feels plasticky. I thought for sure the first wash would damage them (on the apron, I didn’t wash the straps), but they came out completely unscathed, leaving me slightly impressed. Still think they look tacky but at least they are holding up for now.The Takeaway:If you are looking for an inexpensive, quality apron for cooking, cleaning, or chores around the house, then I would definitely recommend this apron!

versatile apron
I got this apron to give to my husband because most of my apron collection are a bit "girly" and on the occasional time he helps in the kitchen, he doesn't have a lot to choose from - ha! But, on arrival and I had to try it on, I'm now not sure he is going to get it! I really like it! The "mechanism" by which you put it on and tie it is very, um, interesting - it took me 2 tries to figure it out and get it right, but when I did, it's really nice! It's extremely adjustable and would fit almost anyone well. It can also be adjusted to come up higher in front if you like that - a lot of aprons have a low "neckline" which I don't care for because then I get that part of my uncovered clothes dirty. It is also made of a really sturdy canvas fabric. That and the look of it give it more of a feel like for a workshop or crafts than for the kitchen, so I might just need it for my crafty project work! I also like that you can remove the straps for washing - if they are not dirty, I would probably do that to preserve the hardware and "leather" parts. It seems to be very well made and I think it would last a long time. For the price, it seems a really good value - I would expect to see it cost more in a store.
