Advantus PC0600 Paper Clips, Plastic, Large (1-3/8-Inch), Assorted Colors, 200/Box

Bible pages are often thin and delicate. I like to mark several spots at once and these won't rip any of the pages. I also use them for my song book and give a handful to Bible students. We even used these as temporary tabs for a child's Bible. I can NEVER find these in office stores...even if they SAY they stock them. The plastic clips they have are just coated metal. I've only found these on Amazon. I will keep coming back for them.

I ordered these clips as I find them to be great bookmarks for trade paperbacks and multi-volume graphic novels. I have nothing but good things to say about the clips themselves. The thin, cardboard box the clips are packaged in was totally crushed by being shipped in one of the aircell Amazon mailer envelopes. Not the best choice as the box of clips was totally demolished and 90% of the clips were loose in the envelope. None were broken, but I now have to find another container to keep these clips in.

Work great keeping paperwork sorted

I'm a teacher in a residential facility. We can't have metal paperclips, so I use these instead. They work well but are fragile and snap easily. However, I expected them to, so no big surprise. The seller did a good job with packaging, so I'd buy from this one again.

I got these to hold together small stacks of 2-3 sheets of paper without the wrinkling caused by heavy paperclips. End result = fail. They wrinkle the paper worse than the paperclips ever did. The only thing I like is that they are thinner than paperclips so the stacks of paper remain thinner in the area where they are clipped. Also, the colors help you easily see the breaks in a stack of paper versus the silver paperclip.

I used these to keep stickers on yard sale clothes. No more lost stickers!

Just what I needed

Rarely, in all the years since 2006 of ordering from Amazon (123 orders placed in 2018 alone), have I ever wished more for a Category of Zero for reviewing products. In a phrase, the item ADVANTUS Large Plastic Paper Clips, 1-3/8 Inch, Assorted Colors, Box of 200 (PC0600) is a complete waste of time and money. My Prime package of these beauties arrived strewn outside their own crushed cardboard box, numbered 197 (some broken) along with a few pieces of plastic waste that summed, I suppose, to the gross weight of 200 of these useless fasteners. They are not “Large;” they are rather brittle; they are far thinner in construction than the Plastiklips that I have used for many years. (Those who rant about these ADVANTUS products may never have had a chance to use the Plastiklips alternatives.) When these clips arrived, I inspected them and decided to just throw them out. I then sat down to write this Review note, not because I have lots of time to waste reviewing such lousy products but because I was THAT angry. DON’T buy these. Spend a bit more and get the Plastiklips ones made in Germany. The quality alone will be worth the difference and the improved performance will be a hidden bonus.

Clips for one or two sheets Rather flimsy and very small ( despite saying large on the box). Pretty useless and the box arrived battered and open.

Such poor quality, snap at the slightest bend. Useless.
