I decided to test the difference between a regular coffee mug and this insulated tumbler by pouring 12 ounces of just boiled hot water into each then checking the temperature of both every 15 minutes. I was working in a 44 degree F room, so expected to see significant temperature drops over time.After pouring the water in I quickly checked just the regular coffee mug and recorded 152 degrees F, wrongly assuming the insulated tumbler would be the same. After the first 15 minute interval, the regular cup was 120 degrees and the tumbler was 172. Clearly the original water had been above 172 degrees, but the ceramic material of the cup almost instantly reduced the temperature by more than 20 degrees. After 30 minutes the coffee cup was exactly 100 degrees while the tumbler was 163, 11 degrees warmer than the coffee cup at the very start.After an hour the tumbler had cooled to, a still tongue burning, 149 degrees, but the coffee mug was now 78 degrees, even too cool for a comfortable bath.My final measurement was at 90 minutes with the cup measuring 66 degrees and the tumbler at 138 degrees, still a drinkable temperature for my morning tea.Having no wine in the house I didn’t attempt to test how a cold liquid would fare in a similar comparison, but I assume similar but opposite results would be experienced with cold liquids.

This is cute, but the color in the photo reads as a hot pink, which was why I was inclined to purchase it. However, in reality it is more of just a dark pink, there's nothing bright about it.

Nice size for a chilled glass of wine. But it only keeps my beverage ice cold for no more than 2 hours.

I got this tumbler a little less than a month ago. I have used it every single day since. I'm a homeschool mom so I like to have a cup that's "my" cup that I keep with me throughout the day. I use this cup for water, hot tea, hot chocolate, and cold lattes. It keeps cold things cold and hot things hot. I wouldn't say that it's amazing for its temperature control, but it's good enough for me. I like the amount of liquid it holds and it's very comfortable to hold. It doesn't fit well in cupholders so that has been a downside to bringing it out and about with me. It's super easy to clean which is one of my favorite things. In comparison to other larger tumblers, regular mugs and cups, reusable water bottles, etc (I've pretty much tried them all) I would say that this one is my favorite. I would like to replace our other regular cups with similar tumblers for my kids. That being said, this is starting to show some abuse. The lid has chipped and the bottom of the tumber has places where the paint is wearing off. I'm a little concerned that it's going to look pretty bad in a couple more months, so you may want to take that into consideration before purchasing. One last comment- the colors and style of this is cup are fun and I've enjoyed its aesthetics.
