I love that these utensils are the right size for the amount you need to eat. I left my utensils at home when I went to my sisters house to eat, and she gave me a spoon and I thought it was so gigantic. I could only eat a few spoonfuls with her spoon.. That’s why I never understood why I ate so much because my utensils were tiny! I love these. I love the pouch that they come in and I can’t wait to put them in my purse and take them to a restaurant. I know They will look strange but I don’t care. I’ll be fulfilled.

I am a bariatric surgery patient, approximately 1.5 years out. I purchased these as tiny-to-go silverware so that I may always have reminders to take small bites. They are sturdy, dishwasher safe, and come in a to go pouch. I keep a set in my car and a my lunch box. I will definitely purchase these again, though I wish the knife was more like a steak knife and less like a doll-sized butter knife.

What you get are two sets of children's fork and spoons and two butter knives. Butter knife like the kind you will usually get one of in a complete service for four, not the luncheon knives most of us know as butter knives. In my opinion the knife included will be awkward to use and frankly I will fell silly using it. That being said the fork and spoon are well made, heavy and a nice finish. - (The other bamboo butter knife is from my current set. I just used that for reference.)

This is perfect for anyone living the bariatric lifestyle. Comes with a discreet little case that's perfect for your purse or backpack. I keep one set at home and one in my bag!

These are the perfect portion control for me... I tend to take big bites, and eat quickly without even thinking about it. So the simple fact that these are smaller. I feel satisfied sooner... And eat less most of the time... For ex... eating a cup of Greek yogurt. I normally would eat the whole cup of it.. but when using the bariatric spoon, I'm happy with around half the cup, if even that.

These are excellent quality however if you're buying for bariatrics patients you should know they aren't full length. My sister looked rather insulted when I gave them to her.

It's an appetizer fork along with a butter knife. The spoon is the only thing that resembles flatware you'd use at meal time. The butter knife cannot cut anything but it can spread butter. Disappointed.

I'm a bariatric patient (not a BARBARIC, as the description of this item states....) but these work great to ensure small bites are taken.
