EXTRAORDINARY
I replaced a Yale lock that I could not connect to remotely. The lock has a separate plug into an outlet that facilitates connecting to Wi-Fi.Never work from the beginningThe keypad worked but not having access, defeated the whole purposeThe only reason I bought EUFY was the price. For under $100 it beats the Yale and the Schlag locks by $150 or moreIt is package beautifully. The instructions are simple and clear. And it was very easy to install. It was extraordinarily easy.It connected to Wi-Fi without a glitchI’m going to buy another one for the door opposite this. And then when I get back to our other home, I’m going to get one for our front door and replace the Yale lock. The yale like has to connect through wink. After I had it for about two years wink decided to start charging me five dollars a month.EUFY is a no-brainer. And now I’m going to look into more of their products.

Eufy smart lock
I have never used the Eufy brand of electronics before so I was a bit hesitant to spend the money but what one me over was the that this lock in particular does not require drilling and extra hole into the door for the mounting plate (Its optional) and it's still sturdy with well attached without those extra screws. The installation process was very easy and took less than 30 minutes. The instructions are clear and concise.Appearance wise this is a very sleek but smart lock. The digits pad is simple but modern and simple looking. Even my matienance man was able to use it without instructions.Connecting it to the eufy app was hassel free abd simple as well. It did lose connectivity once in the early days but since then I've had no issues. The lock does have auto lock feature and you can set individual door codes for people. All of this has to be done in the app.Overall I love this door lock and the brand did not disappoint. Im actually looking at getting their smart lock/camera/doorbell device for my front door.

Love it
Great lock system! Easy installation like it says in the box. I love the app features where you can lock and unlock on your phone once it’s connected. Easy features to understand on the app interface. Looks and feels high quality, not cheaply made.

Works well
A couple things I wish were different about this lock, but overall, it works and gets the job done. I used to have a kwikset smart lock and replaced it with this one. Kwikset was fine but was pretty old, was z-wave, and was connected to my former alarm system. I was looking to update, and eufy had a reasonable price (it was on sale for prime day), and I've had a good experience with eufy's doorbell cam. So far it's been installed for about a week, and here's my assessment:Pros:- Looks good - black color makes it looks sleek and not super bulky (though it is a little bulky)- Connects via WiFi so didn't have to buy a z-wave hub- Easy to control and add codes from the app- No subscription fees necessary- Touchscreen (not buttons) so it's easy to unlock when my hands are full and I can't fully push in a button- Numbers light up so you can see them at night- It works!Cons:- Can't be rekeyed...wish I'd realized this before I purchased. This is probably the biggest con.- Didn't come charged (or with a charging cord) so had to find a cord and charge it up before installing- Have to press the 'lock' button for several seconds before it'll lock (like more than 2 seconds, which would be my preference). Seems long for the current digital age. My husband says it will help me slow down in life and not be in a hurry...I still think holding down for 2 seconds or even a double-tap on the lock icon would be sufficient!

Bad locks and worse service
I purchased 2 of the C210 models smart locks for my Airbnb property. They worked great at first, and the app is nice but after a few months both units kept draining the batteries. Eufy sent me another set and those were even worse. The batteries drained every week. I can’t have the locks go out with guests staying. I wanted to work something out with Eufy…maybe an upgrade to C220s but a manager, Shane, said that the company doesn’t do upgrades and to return the locks to them and buy other locks. So Eufy wants to lose a customer over $40 (the price difference between C210 and C220 for 2 locks). So my buddy, Shane, emailed me a return label to send all 4 locks back to Eufy. I purchased another brand of locks that manager Shane suggested I do (assuring me in an email that I will receive a 100% refund), had my property manager install them, box up the Eufy locks, and return using the label my buddy, manager Shane, emailed to me. He is now saying that the label is invalid and that I should check with USPS. That is not my problem. It is Eufy’s problem. My PM sent those locks on Nov 14, 2023. I received notifications on my phone on Nov 25, 2023 that the locks had been opened indicating that they arrived at the Eufy facility. My buddy, manager Shane, is refusing to, not only refund my money as I was assured, but also refusing to check with his receiving department.Very poor locks and even worse customer service. If I actually get my refund, I will update my review.UPDATE Dec 6, 2023My buddy, Shane, is now making excuses about why he will not refund my money despite saying “rest assured” I will get a refund. His stance is that the return label was not activated. Umm…thought it was invalid. Eufy generated and emailed the label to me. Now it’s my fault?? Watch out if you plan to buy a Eufy product which is owned by Anker Innovations.UPDATE Dec 29,2023I finally received a refund after contacting Anker Innovations directly. It only took 3 months. The Anker rep was apologetic and hoped that this incident wouldn’t affect my feelings about purchasing from Anker/Eufy in the future. My response was that she, (yet another “Debbie” in those companies”) should be more concerned with Shane who could care less about customers or his company and to let me know when Shane was removed from a managerial position then I would change my star rating. Within a couple of days, I received another email from “Debbie” stating that male Shane had been removed but a female “Shane” (she actually used quotation marks) had been placed. Sooo…my ONE star rating remains because I did finally receive my refund, but no more stars for lying and insulting my intelligence. Bizarre folks over there at Anker and Eufy. Good luck to you if you buy their products. I do NOT recommend.
