Superb MS Natural Style Mechanical Keeb
Finally someone produces a keeb very similar to the old, great MS Natural keeb. I have a dozen, or two, custom keebs and this is now my daily driver. Clicky switches work great. Feel of the keeb is great. Layout is more or less the same as the old MS Natural. I like it so much I have the full and the TKL model as well. The negativesESC key needs a little more distance from F1. I hit F1 sometimes instead of ESC.The customization key above backspace is a bit awkward as well. I hit it by mistake from time to time. May take the keycap off of it.Has a bit of key ring. I popped open and installed some 2mm foam below the boards and it helped.Uses the lesser used choc keycap connection so custom keycaps are difficult. However, the stock keycaps are very good.My biggest beef is no individual key leds. I added some bumps and circles for some added homing to get around this. Much of my use is in the dark so leds are missed.I have not used the software or its customization. Karabiner on a mac is my go to for this and it handles everything I need.Great keeb - I use it 12-16 hours a day.

perfect
LOVE this keyboard. Very ergonomic and comfy. Even has a couple levels of height adjustment built in to the front to elevate it so your hands can be in the proper position. Built in key mapping so whether you use pc or mac it will work just as you're used to. The keys have a really great feel and sound to them that's just clicky enough but won't annoy people around you like cherry blue keys do. Very satisfying and pleasant to use this. Also the palm/wrist rest is made of hard material that won't deteriorate over time the way the old Microsoft ergonomic keyboard did.

Fantastic mechanical replacement for a Sculpt
I really like this keyboard. I've been using a Microsoft sculpt for several years, but I have to replace that one every year or so due to wear and tear. They're nice, I like the feel of those keyboards, but the durability of the switches along with the low-quality function keys made it tough to keep going back.I found this and decided to give it a try. It's not wireless, but I honestly don't need that kind of functionality. The keys feel the same now as they did when I bought this keyboard a year ago. Keycaps are easily removed and cleaned. Ergonomics are fantastic, my hands do not hurt after a full day of using this. The classic layout is intuitive, I love that this keyboard mostly avoids the "unique" convenience features that get in the way of most power-users.I'm not a big fan of the firmware, though. It's easy to use, but the "macro" functionality mostly just gets in my way. I will occasionally fat-finger the macro-record button on, which will inadvertently record a nonsense macro that I will later accidentally activate. I usually catch it when I hit this though and just have to go into the firmware to delete the macro. The mac/Win switch can also be a little odd and counterintuitive. For me, at least, I have to turn the key labeled "Win" off to get expected Windows behavior. If I accidentally turn it on, it's easy to realize but it's also something I could do without. The firmware, however, does not allow this functionality to be disabled. The firmware DOES allow disabling of some other functionality (such as turning off the numlock key so your number pad is always just a number pad), and this is fantastic. I usually have to use some sort of registry hack to disable the numlock key, it's very easy to do with the native firmware.Keymapping is also provided in the software, it's easy to do and nice to note have to reboot the machine to remap a key.But for a few minor quibbles, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a mechanical ergonomic option that won't break the bank.

periboard-535BR knocks it out of the park.
Extremely sturdy, no key wobble. I got the brown switches, as I wanted some tactile resistance for gaming. I'm not disappointed. The response to keypress is consistent, and the repress rate is high enough. This keyboard is good enough to satisfy any pro gamer who also would like to avoid carpel tunnel syndrome.

Review from a Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard User
Before I got this keyboard I was a user of the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard which I loved and used for about 8 years. It was time for me to retire that reliable keyboard and I was interested in trying something new but was still wanted a split keyboard design but also had a 10 key pad since since the sculpt’s 10 key was separate from the keyboard. I debated between this keyboard and the Logitech Ergonomic keyboard but decided to give this a try because of the mechanical keys and have not been disappointed so far.1. I don’t mind that the wrist rest isn’t padded. My old keyboard pad wore out and there were permanent marks from where my wrist rested that no amount of cleaning could ever remove. This wrist rest is still comfortable and I don’t think it will show signs of wear like a padded rest would.2. I got the tactile buttons (brown switches) and the buttons don’t make that much noise. I love the feeling of pressing these keys.3. I don’t use the programmable macro keys so I can’t speak on their usefulness. I use this keyboard for my job and mostly am creating spreadsheets and writing e-mails.I can’t complain about this keyboard so far. I’m very used to the split keyboard design and have no problems getting adjusted to this. My only slight gripe is that the keyboard does occupy more space then the MS Sculpt do my mouse had to be out further than my body than I’m used to but I have adjusted. This is the only company that I was able to find that has an ergonomic keyboard with mechanical keys. I will update this review if I run into any problems.

Life-Changing!!
This keyboard is everything I was looking for... comfort, quality, style and increased productivity. It's a nice sleek mechanical keyboard without the annoyingly chunky keys. I went into a store to test which of the mechanical keys I like best across different brands and was told it's brown-tactile that I gravitate towards, so I went with that here (and stores never seem to carry low profile mechanical options). Each keystrokes is very responsive and you definitely get that spring-loaded tactile push-back to know you are typing up a strom, with accuracy!! I never used a split before but was finding my fingers/hands very crammed during typing so I gave it a shot and was flying on day 2, which was a full day of typing, and day 1 I only put in maybe 10 minutes of practice, a real fast adjustment and my hands were definitely more relaxed and happy. The built-in palm rest is an absolute necessity in a keyboard, and they include a nice one here! I couldn't be happier with this brand and their product... it's not often that what you are looking for and what you get line-up so perfectly, definitely a home run for me here!!

Easy set up, nice key feel.
First mechanical keyboard for me, although son has been at me for a while to get one. My preference for wireless put me off. However, cord on this is long enough to easily move around my desk when I need to. Looks thin - but is sturdy, doesn't slip around. Love the metal plate under the keys, which gives it the sturdy feel. I am used to a split keyboard and this has just the right amount of split and curve for me. I would love light up keys as I often work in low light, but I know where all my keys are so it's not much of an issue (and not something I've ever had before). I use for transcription work - long hours on a daily basis, and am an old-school heavy typist (remnant from learning to touch type on a manual typewriter, yes I'm old :-D) Keys are very receptive and feel great to type on. Hopefully this will last me much longer than my last logi eco membrane keyboard, which I'm lucky if I got a year out of. Very happy with my purchase decision.

The perfect mix of mechanical and ergonomic keyboard
I have been using this keyboard for about a month. It is both my first mechanical keyboard and my first ergonomic keyboard. I went for the brown switches, as their features seem to be a perfect middle-ground between blue and red switches. As I have been using flat keyboards all my life, it took me 2 or 3 days to get use to the shape, but it is indeed much more comfortable and has contribute to decrease the pain on my right hand. I have only one regret: not getting this keyboard before! It is worthy of every penny.

Excellent - Now my favourite keyboard
I've been working in accounting and data entry, and a few months ago I got RSI. So I got this keyboard, the clicky version for home and the tactile version for work, and it is excellent. The build quality is good, the ergonomics are comfortable with minimal learning curve, the features are nice (the macros don't require software like most keyboards these days) and the price is exceptionally good (especially for a mechanical ergonomic keyboard). Now I don't have to deal with RSI.The keyswitches are also quite nice. The clicky version uses a clickbar, which provides better tactility and auditory feedback than a regular MX-type switch. The only flaw is the keycap mount. They are low-profile and use a non-standard mount, so you can't really put 3rd-party keycaps on them. The included keycaps are okay, being lasered ABS, but they do have the inherent flaws of such.Overall, I can definitely recommend this keyboard, especially for those in professions which involve a lot of typing. It is really comfortable and satisfying to type on.

Fantastic ergo mechanical for the price
The keyboard is fantastic. Especially at the price point. I got the red switches as I had never used a red switch before. Stick to blues! The keyboard deck doesn't have much flex. I've used several Perixx ergo membrane keyboards before hand. So the big change is the mechanical switches. It feels premium and a nice upgrade to my previous Perixx keyboard.
