Solidly built, accurate enough for home use
At this price point, I don't think you're going to find better build quality. It feels like a quality tool in your hand.I see reviews complaining about its accuracy. I don't do any precision work, so I can't address whether it's accurate enough for that. It's accurate enough for projects around the home. but maybe not if you're a professional, or an amateur with professional standards.

Simple, well-built, useful tool, highly recommended
This is a simple combo square, but it's well-built and is incredibly useful for building pretty much anything that requires precise right angle measurements. I use it for building home audio systems, specifically speaker enclosures. I have another 8" fixed square from Swanson and I liked it so much I decided to get one that was more versatile. Very happy with this purchase.

Arrived bent but I don't care
I bought this for the metal ruler. The ruler was slightly bent when I got it but I just ended up bending it the other way to make it somewhat straight.

Delivered with missing part
Looks okay but was delivered without scriber (not in the box, hole on tool for it). Returning too much hassle, but would not buy again

Quality control
First, they removed my first review, maybe because I told the truth about the poor quality control on the product I received (hope they changed it), when I see the 0 tolerance for fake review... I am wondering if they just remove things they are not happy with.Anyway, the product I received was out of square by 1/8' (a little bit more) on the total 16' length which is definitely not acceptable, the 6' was perfectly square and helps me to find the cause of failing several cuts using this Combi square.If by any bad luck you get an out of square bad batch like me, this is what I've done:Lapping all sides to make sure they are perfectly flat on a diamond stone (you will notice they are a bit hollow, not a big deal) then sand with a 120 grit the high part inside (there is two bits protruding inside, one in the front and one in the back of the middle pin holder). Do it slowly and try it before grinding it too much.Now it is perfectly flat and I can enjoy the long combi square.I keep one star because I had to fix the tool and because my first review just disappeared for some dark reason.
