Good purchase
Bought for an ABRSM grade 6 exam piece. I was pleased to be able to buy this second hand as you can spend a lot on music that you don’t need for long. It arrived promptly and in useable condition.

Great variety and progressive challenge
I'm not a good player despite doing it for a few years. (Probably grade 5 on a good day). This starts easy and gives you a chance to build up pace and complexity. I'm a little over half way through and there have only a couple of tunes i haven't enjoyed. Good for sight reading, rhythm patterns and playing in different styles (and keys). All short pieces and therefore adds variety to practice.

A "must have" for learners
This is an invaluable collection for anyone learning the Sax (alto or tenor). The difficulty level progresses steadily from simple to truly challenging, but along with that, they're all tuneful and genuinely enjoyable to play. It has really helped me in the learning process and is still giving me both challenge and fun.

Good book, I'm a beginner so much of it ...
Good book, I'm a beginner so much of it is beyond me atm, so there is years of playing inside this book for me. At first I found even the easy pieces too hard, but with a little perseverance I am getting some of them.

Great book that will last along time
I bought this book as it has pieces from multiple grades in it so it will last me a longer time. There are lots of fun pieces to play in here and they range in standard from Grade 1 to Grade 8. It's worth getting a secondhand copy as they're much cheaper.

The tunes are not great, but they are designed to improve technical skills like using the optional keys and playing across the break. It is progressive, but doesn't get too difficult for the beginner to intermediate player. I play the clarinet, and this book has assisted the transition considerably.
