It's a good choice
Honest review alert! I recently tried this product and while it's been a game-changer for my skin, I do have a few notes. The texture is a bit oily, and it does leave a slight scent after application. However, it's worth noting that this product really delivers on its promises! One thing to keep in mind: make sure to pair it with a good sunscreen for optimal results. Overall, I'm loving the benefits I've seen, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Effective, ask quickly on dark spots and melasma.
So I not only have dark spots, but I also have melasma. This salve was recommended by a master aesthetician who has a YouTube channel. It was his first recommendation in a series of five different products for melasma. I am so impressed with this product. I have used it on both areas for both problems and it really is helping. Really excited about it and the price is perfect.

Works but you need to be patient
After using my first tube (lasted me a year because I use it as a spot treatment) I find myself buying another one. It's not 'fast acting', you need to be consistent (but thats true fir most skincare). I deal with PIH and mark as soon as a breakout happens, picking or not and noticed a significant difference using this product. I other brightening agents in my skincare but honed in on using this specifically to see its effects. Overall. I like and recommend it. It smells but I dont really care as I use it mostly at night. Moisturizing, not sticky. Follow directions to avoid skin irritations. During the day, im light handed and the smell masks under everything else im wearing. 4 out of 5 because I want to use another tube to be sure.

Faded it is
I have been using multiple products for years to get rid of my sun spot. I have been wanting to try this for a long time so I finally purchased it after my only other option being laser treatments, those are expensive and I’m on a budget. I have been using it consistently since July 5 2025, it is now a month and a half later and I am shocked with how much it has faded with just once a week use. In the picture you can see the sun spot below my check. Ignore my freckles, I’m keeping those! I have very sensitive skin and I have not had any issues with this. The smell is absolutely horrible but worth it with these results!

My experience: 69 Y.O. W.M.
TLDR versionAfter 5 weeks daily AM useProsReduced appearance of age spots slightly. Very slightly.First couple days of use caused slight irrititation/reddening but after that no irritation.ConsPRICEYSlightly funky smell, but dissipates in less than an hour. Not a deal breaker.Leaves skin feeling greasy for hoursSometimes caused pimples to occur, the kind you might get when eating too much chocolate. Not sure this product caused it but I *think* it did.My final verdict: I wouldn't buy it again at half the price.Loquacious versionI have lived in sunny hot places most of my life. I never used sunscreen regularly until about a year ago. Not surprisngly I have a few age spots/sun spots on my face, arms and back of my hands. I want to get rid of them so I got expert advice (Thank You Drs. Dray, Shah, and Maxfield) and began a program that includes daily sunscreen use and active topicals including tretinoin and hydroquinone and other things. I have been using this program for 10 months. In this 10 months I have experienced the spots diminish in size and darkness, very very slowly. Painfully slowly. Did the daily use of sunscreen accomplish this? The active topicals? I don't know. I wondered if an over the counter product with a good reputation like FADED might give better results so I bought one large tube, stopped using hydroquinone, and used Faded every day till the tube was empty. That turned out to be five weeks. The result was that my spots continued fade away very very slowly, noticeably more slowly than when I was using hydroquinone . And FADED is rather stinky and kept my skin feeling greasy for hours whenever used. And I got occaisional minor pimple breakouts while using that *I think* was caused by FADED. So the FADED was all used up two and a half weeks ago. I resumed using hydroquinone daily when the FADED was gone, and my my spots continue to fade but noticeably faster. So my experience validates what my dermatoligist advisors have said, that hydroquinone is the gold standard for removing age spots/sun spots. This was my experience. Your experience may, probably will, differ.

Be patient—this is the only product that truly worked for me.
I started using Topicals Faded Brightening & Clearing Serum in January 2025, and now, in July, I can confidently say it changed my skin—and my confidence—for the better.Over the winter, I was battling the worst cystic acne of my life. My jawline and temples were constantly inflamed, and the deep, red scars left behind made me feel hopeless. I would avoid mirrors, photos, and often wanted to cry when I saw my reflection. Makeup barely covered the damage, and I felt embarrassed going out without it.I started slowly—once a week—and now I use this serum every other day, alternating with The Ordinary’s azelaic acid. I keep my skincare routine minimal: just water to wash my face (or a gentle cleanser if I’ve been gardening or sweating). That’s it.When I first received the small bottle, I thought it was overpriced for the size. But seven months later, I’m still finishing up that same bottle—and just ordered a second one. A little goes a long way. I've also seen reviews saying it doesn’t work. To those people: please be patient. I didn’t see dramatic results overnight either. But slowly, steadily, my scars faded, my breakouts became less frequent, and my skin tone started to even out. It’s not magic—but it’s close. I still have acne-prone skin, but it’s no longer a source of daily sadness. I can look in the mirror and smile again, which I truly didn’t think would be possible when I first started using this in January. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend giving it time. This serum gave me back my confidence—and that’s worth every penny. Before and after photos attached—finding “befores” was hard because I avoided the camera for months.
