Terrific Wireless Lapel Microphone
AIKELA Wireless MicrophoneTerrific Wireless Lapel MicrophoneBought this microphone to compare with my old Sony WCS-999 which I have been using for over a decade. The Sony works really well and I like the sound quality, but there are those wires that connect to camera and to the actual mic that you need to try to hide under your shirt. Only problem I have with the Sony is that one time I video recorded an event and was close to an overhead air conditioner. Did a test and all seemed good, so was ready for the event to start. Recorded the event and next day went to process the video. When the ac unit turned on, it created an interference with the wireless audio signal and I had well over a thousand “pops” that I needed to remove in post. Took me a couple days!So when I saw this AIKELA available and the fact that it was Totally wireless and the cost was really inexpensive, thought I would give it a try. I have used it a few times for recording already and not one “pop”. However, that pesky ac unit isn’t around either. The fact that there are no wires is really much better than the mic with wires to connect to mic and recording device.I use a 90 degree adapter to plug into my video camera and the receiver just hangs down without wires. Much cleaner. Also, it comes with a couple extra foam wind socks and a couple extra clips for the mic. That is really the only down side to this mic is that the clip does not rotate. I first used it up on my shirt collar, but it picked up my every gulp. So I clipped it on a lanyard and was able to adjust the distance to my voice and that keeps it away from my throat which eliminates those throat noises. It also comes with a small carry pouch and an adapter wire which takes the 3 conductor into a 4 conductor 3.5mm jack. And it comes with a couple short charging cables.Last thing I would like to mention is the rechargeable batteries are internal and not user replaceable. Like lots of things coming out these days is those non-replaceable batteries. So hopefully they will last for many years but when they give out, you will need to purchase new microphones! Plus in the event that you run out of juice, you can’t just replace the batteries and go on. You are basically out of luck. And there is no way of telling how much charge left in the batteries.I just had that happen last week when I videoed a wedding and at the cake cutting, one of the lights (internal batteries) ran out of juice, same thing, couldn’t just change batteries and go on, just had to manage with only one light.Seems to be “the battery thing” these days, but I am not a fan of this system.Sound quality is ok, no control, just picks up sound. You need to do all adjusting in post production. So, yes, a few limitations, but hey for the money, still well worth it.Hope this helps.

Great microphone. Charge before use!
I must say, this tiny microphone has utterly revolutionized my recording experience. A striking feature is its 3-in-1 universal receiver, compatible not just with iPhone, but with a broad range of devices including Android, PC, and cameras. An additional advantage is the ability to record two sound sources simultaneously, an ideal setup for team creators and interviewers. What made the product stand out was its seamless automatic connection; just plug the receiver into your device and it gets to work instantly. There's no hassle with apps or Bluetooth settings – a true plug-and-play experience. The noise cancellation technology is an absolute game-changer. With its built-in Bluetooth, it offered crystal clear audio even in noisy environments. The sound follows the picture in real-time, delivering high-quality, well-synchronized audio-visual content. The additional option for manual noise reduction ensures pristine audio quality at all times. The microphone performed admirably over an impressive audio range of 393ft, and the battery life was more than satisfactory, lasting over 7 hours. The convenience of a quick recharge (fully charged in just 80 minutes) was the icing on the cake. The microphone's portability and the inclusion of a 1-year warranty seal the deal. It's an excellent piece of equipment, perfect for vloggers, podcasters, and anyone who wants to improve their audio for interviews, online conferences, or live streaming. I wholeheartedly recommend this wireless microphone for anyone in the content creation realm; it's a game-changer.

Good & Cheap sounding Wireless mic for the price
Ok so right off the bat, if you don't care about sound quality and you want a good mic to clip on your person for zoom meetings or something were you can't have a proper mic set up, this is really good. I havent tested the battery life but it seems pretty long from the very little I've used it. The range is also pretty good on this too and its very easy to set up. The automatic noise cancellation tuned out my AC even though I was standing right next to it. The fact that this thing cleans up its own audio on the fly is insane to me. There's only really 3 HUGE cons for me. 1, the mic's sound quality is VERY passable. You will be understandable but you won't sound that good. The sound quality will leave you being desired but honestly for the price, its good enough. 2, there's no USB connection. There is one for USB C, Lightning port and it has a 3.5MM. The 3.5MM feels like it doesn't work most of the time. I tested it out on my Laptop and I could not get the thing to work. It feels like it has a better use for phones vs PC which is a turn off for me personally. 3 and my final MAJOR CON is that you can't mess with the volume for each mic separately. So if you are using both mics and 1 person is too loud, you can't lower JUST that mic. Depending on how you use the mic(s) this may not be an issue but I think its pretty bad. Overall these mics are good for what they. Nothing amazing but they will get the job done.
